This brush is amazing! We have a cat that has Maine Coon in him so he really doesn't shed but has a THICK coat. We have bought and used several brushes and holy moly!!! This thing works to pull out the undercoat and keep out handsome boy from getting matted.This is just part of today's collection and we have been brushing him regularly since we got the brush.

This will get the job done and not hurt your dog. It takes tangles out and works great on getting matt’s out also. I suggest.using some detangler .when getting matt’s out.

This DOES NOT REMOVE MATTING. This comb softly glides over my Maine Coon cat's long soft fur. It does not comb or brush it. I was looking for something that would help with matting. I will continue my search...

My cat had a thick mat on his back, too close to the skin to cut with scissors. A few passes with this and it came right out! We were shocked. Definitely recommend!

Wish I would have had this a long time ago. It really does the job. Good value for money. Great grooming tool. Easily removes tangles. My cat loves this comb more than the old one.

The de-matting blades really do cut through my cat's really tight knots of matted fur which is great because he absolutely hates being taken to the grooming salon!. However, its does pull at them somewhat and he gets rather annoyed at me after only a few minutes of use. So i have resorted to doing a little mat removal each day and I have after 10 days removed 90% of those nasty mats. The other blades of this device, however, does not seem to pull hard on his fur and I think he actually enjoys being groomed with it. It isn't for de-matting but it removes a whole lot more of his dead fur than any slicker brush I have ever used. Its amazing how much fur it removes and its seems to be very gentle to his sensitive skin.

I have 2 Birman cats, long haired. This tool was amazing how it took off all the dead hair with out pulling or causing my cats distress. As a matter of fact my female who gives me a hard time when I groom her just laid there and let me groom her, I was shocked! I absolutely love this tool!!!
