The ends are not rounded as pictures would have you believe. They're more or less flat.If you're careful & don't let it touch the dogs skin at all, it'll do the job.

I'm a groomer and this has been a game changer for large double coated breeds. Cuts brush time down and gets through the coat! I have lost a few pins on the outter comb so hopefully I won't lose too many more.

My husky has really thick fur (thicker than all my other huskies in the past) and she sheds slowly year round. I feel like this would work amazing on a husky that sheds in clumps of fur but for my slow shedding husky, its so so. I do recommend it though as it is easy to run through her hair and she seems to hate it a little less than her comb.

I'm sure these are great. I just haven't needed to use them yet. Most dogs coming to me recently are very matted and this isn't a tool for solving that problem.

The rake is missing a tooth, at least one. I don't believe the seller or the product are at fault. The delivery driver did toss it probably 5 feet or so to the door. I'm not one to make a big deal of things. With all the people that handle merchandise before I ever see it, it doesn't surprise me. The rakes are a must. I have a Siberian Husky and I can easily fill a plastic bag daily and I mean full. He will raise living hell and tell me how bad he hates any other brush if I show him one. He will calmly sit there and enjoy getting raked everytime. So that's that, worth the money for sure. I'll be sure not to leave this one at the park.

The rake is very good and does its job well. It's sturdy and pet friendly. My only complaint is regarding the fifth picture in the product's add showing the rake's teeth, which depicts rounded heads, when in fact the rake truly is made of rounded tips (see picture above).

I have a Siberian Huskey and I hated grooming him and so did he. The rake I used grabbed too much hair and pulled and was uncomfortable for the dog. My son broke the vile brush's handle and I bought the OCTCHOCO Pet Comb Extra-Large Rake. When I first tried it I thought this thing doesn't collect much hair but the dog loved it. I realized my ignorance up to this point. The OCTCHOCO Pet Comb Extra-Large Rake takes the correct amount of hair each stoke and just keep stroking and it works fine. He now stands and smiles and loves to be raked and dances and spins in circles when we are done. The rake is also very sturdy and comfortable in the hand. I keep the rake on the patio so when I let him outside I show him the rake and ask, "You wanna brush?" and he comes to me which he NEVER EVER did before.
