The dimensions of this lig are just right for my Jody Jazz soprano MP. It also fits my Berg Tenor MP. Who knew. I've been playing for 45 years and I can tell you that a ligature will not make your tone dark or bright; I don't care what anybody says. Conversely, changing a reed can. This is a great ligature and well, the price is just right.

I thought this lig worked great until I noticed that it had put a chip and scratches un my mouthpiece. The edges are sharp!

too big for any soprano sax mouthpiece- extremely disappointing! poor quality....
