Product Description

The Prairie Horse Supply Riding Crops are hand crafted with an all Fiberglass shaft and your choice of either a double or single leather slapper. Slappers are sometimes known as a tongue or keeper. This new and improved shaft is extremely flexible.

Fiberglass is a high quality material and will not break, the shaft is thickest at the end of the handle and terminates in a thin flexible tress at the slapper, making our training crops easy to handle. The length of the crop has been designed to allow enough leverage for it to be accelerated rapidly with the wrist. A true crop comes in 24" and 27" overall lengths, we offer both lengths for your choice.

Each handle has a loop to secure your grip and prevent the crop from sliding through your hand.

Now offering four different colored shafts. Black, Purple, Pink, or Fuchsia

Each crop from the Prairie Horse Supply collection is marked with Brand on handle end.

The crop flexes well and looks good in a photo. For my purposes, five stars.

It has a good length and it is durable.

Can't imagine it would hold up to any impact play other than very light impact. Would be a good prop. Definitely not sturdy enough to use on a horse.

Nothing fancy, holds up well, good value for the cost. On our second one just because the first was “borrowed” by another rider who liked it too much.

Crops go missing all the time. I can purchase these in "bulk" and not fret about them getting misplaced. I'm sure the crops are enjoyed by others at our barn equally. The only negative I have is that there is a rubber "stopper" at the base of the handle that doesn't always stay put. It is easily pushed back into place, but that's why I took a star off. Nonetheless, for the price these are truly the perfect crop.

This product is cheaply made and is poor craftsmanship. Used it 1 day. The wrist band came off and the leather is coming off the grip. Go to Tractor Supply or Rural King and get one for 1/2 the price. DON'T BUY!!!

It’s good for the money. It is made cheaply and the flap on the end came folded and not flat because of the box, but it is good because it’s only $11 haha. The strap is a bit too long.

You guys...There's blogs out there dedicated to this kind of thing.I bought this same size and style a while back and left it behind somewhere. That one was well made with quality materials and functioned as it should. This is absolutely nowhere near the same quality or construction. The handle wrap is an inferior material poorly applied, the cap and ring on the handle are crooked and damaged, the covering on the rod isn't properly applied, the leather feels like cardboard and is mounted crooked. To top it off, it was shipped FOLDED... IN... HALF.From what I remember the original was made in the US, and this was not.
