The three screwdrivers are great. Helped disassemble a few video game consoles, worth the money.

My six month old Series X controller developed bad upward drift and so I ordered this to try replacing the stick, but didn't do enough research first to realize it requires removing solder and resoldering the new assembly in place. Since I don't have an iron and have never used one I'm not going to do that, at least not right now. I did use this kit to take the controller apart, the screwdrivers worked great and was able to clean it out well and I replaced the plastic thumbstick with the one from the kit, hoping it somehow helped. Unfortunately it still has the same drift, so I guess I'm either buying a whole controller or a soldering iron. Or both, maybe. Rated 4 stars because this kit seems good, but still requires more to complete the repair. And I can't speak to how the parts properly installed would perform.

I recently purchased this repair kit to fix my gaming controllers, and it exceeded my expectations! The set comes with all the essentials: screwdrivers, pry tools, replacement screws, joystick components, and even a cleaning brush. The quality of the tools is impressive—sturdy and easy to handle, with a comfortable grip on the screwdrivers. The replacement joystick modules were a perfect fit for my controller, and the pry tools made disassembling the device much easier without causing any damage. The variety of screws and other accessories included is also a great bonus.Overall, this kit is a fantastic value for anyone who wants to repair their controllers without spending a fortune on professional services. Highly recommended for DIY enthusiasts and gamers alike!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but when a product exceeds expectations, I feel compelled. I ordered this package as my XBox Series S controller had an issue with the right joystick. Basically it was flopping around with no resistance. I took apart the control using the supplied tools and replaced the analog. It was super easy and took about 5 minutes. The hardest part was separating the housing. After I sealed up the controller I updated it via a usb to the XBox, unplugged it and powered it up. Viola!! Works like a charm. I highly recommend trying this to fix a similar issue. It saved me $50 for a new controller and I have spare parts. I was literally ready to toss the controller. Glad I didn’t!!! Thanks for the awesome product!!!!

It's a good joystick, if you are ok to do some soldering, it works perfectly fine. Bit harder to move than the original, but it's a good thing. Cheap enough to save a 60EUR worth of controller :)

My daughter's XBOX ONE metallic pink controller started to develop a permanent drift on the right analog control stick recently and not only did this affect gameplay, but navigating the menus and browsing YouTube became a nightmare. So I did some research, watched a few HOW TO videos and decided that this is something I could take a crack at. I have some decent soldering skills already and my old soldering iron from when I was in high school. I wouldn't suggest that you use an aging iron as the solder points on the control modules are EXTREMELY small and there isn't much wiggle room so a more modern iron with a pointed tip (which I have now...another great Amazon buy!) would be perfect.Takes a bit of effort and patience to perform this surgery on your controller, but the kit provides all the tools and parts you need to dismantle your controller, and get to where the modules sit. LOTS to damage inside these controllers, they are basically mini-computers inside (not like the old Atari days!) so if you're not sure of your skills watch a few videos on YouTube! (BTW there is one guy that recommends cutting the old module out bit by bit...this is NOT necessary, nor would I recommend it) If you have a solder sucker, or desoldering braid and a good iron, you simply need to remove the old solder and the module will literally just pop out. Insert the NEW module and solder it into place. Easy Peasy if you have a bit of know-how!Great kit, modules look and feel identical to the OEM Microsoft ones. Tools work great too...AGAIN use the videos online to show you step by step instructions.Save your old XBOX ONE controllers for a fraction of the cost of buying a new controller!

I bought this in combination with another product on Amazon - a $25 or $30 soldering kit - which included a lot of tools needed to do soldering very easily at home. I was having trouble with my left analog stick on my Xbox One controller drifting randomly either up or down on the vertical axis. I tried opening up the controller multiple times, cleaning the inner parts, and even replaced the vertical sensor itself (a small metal spring that is part of the analog stick assembly) with a fresh one included in this kit. Sadly, it still was acting up.So I simply replaced the entire assembly. I had not done any soldering in many years, so it took me probably close to 30 minutes to finish despite there only being about 12 solder joints. Yet once I had the new joystick attached, it has worked perfectly. Considering used Xbox One controllers at the time I ordered this were going for $80, and I struggled to find new ones in stick, spending $40 in total (between these parts and a soldering kit set) was a great investment. It also means that if I ever have problems with these controllers in the future, I still have at least 3 more sticks I can use!The screwdrivers, extra screws, plastic parts to help take apart the controller - etc - all work very well for their purpose. They seem fairly durable as well considering the price of this order, and no parts were missing.Definitely was worthwhile, and I recommend this set to anybody who is having issues with their Xbox One analog sticks.

Tools are great, screwdrivers feel solid and pry tools do the job. I did have one issue using the joystick modules in an XBox One controller. It made the controller extra sensitive.I measured the resistance vs the Joystick angle and found that the maximum resistance was reached before the joystick hit the outer edge of the hard stop. Basically half of the expected movement of the joystick gave you the same as full movement by the original. This gives extreme sensitivity which I found to be too much compared with the original component that gave 100% reading just as the joystic hit the outer edge of the hole in the controller. (Max travel). If you like a very small joystick movement to have maximum effect on your movement in a game, then this is for you. For me, it was unusable compared to what I was accustomed. In the left hand joystick position (movement), it is bearable, but not the right hand one (aiming) that I use in First person games.

So I am a newbie and I fixed the analog stick drift of my controller with these tools. I have no electrical background. All I did was bought these tools and watch a YouTube video:- how to repair xbox one analog stick input. The video has step by step how to fix the drift by removing an old sensor( will make sense if watch video) with a new one. I took a new sensor from the tools given and put in my old analog stick attached to the circuit. Boom brand new controller.

So, to all that still don't know. These take. I would say Intermediate skill at best to desolder and solder on these axis modules as replacements. Using a solder sucker or a soldering copper braid, it's GOING TO BE A PITA EITHER WAY! BUT I've done 100's of these over the past 10yrs or so. People always kinda agree with me on one thing, is that we like the OEM sticks tension better. If you know anything about the axis modules you know that they come apart. As well as can be cleaned if you dont melt/destroy them taking them off. The sensor wheel plates pop off with a small flathead. The rest comes apart easily, clean it with an alcohol soaked q tip. Dry with, clean and dry q tip. You probably wouldn't even need to order these. But yes, it is a great replacement, and of good quality! You can also replace the springs, from the OEM stick into the new ones. So the tension remains the same, smooth and not as stiff feeling as these. But even still, these are DEAD Accurate! The only reason I'm giving this 3 instead of 5 stars. Is because they got 2 things wrong, but for less than $10 I'm still impressed. 1: The silicone button pads WILL NOT work for an Xbox One S Controller it's definitely not OEM. 2: The pry tool/screwdrivers that comes with it is cheap and hurts the hands. I have big hands so probably doesn't help. But even the Thumbsticks are of good quality. Would buy again! Definitely Reccomend.
