I purchased this headset primarily for its battery and strap, as the original strap for my Oculus 2 was no longer functional. This new strap provides much more support and is larger than the default Oculus head strap, ensuring a more secure fit. Since I've had my Oculus 2 since 2020, the battery life has significantly decreased to less than 30 minutes when running an app. I hoped this headset would offer extra power to keep it running longer. Unfortunately, while the headset does charge the battery when plugged in, it does not function as a replacement battery. Instead, it competes with the onboard battery when in use, trying to charge it while the headset is active. This results in a tug-of-war situation where the battery level often stays stuck at 20% for an hour. Once this items battery gives out, the power completely transfers back to battery inside the Oculus causing the headset to lose power. Therefore, this headset is only effective for charging your Oculus when it's not in use, rather than serving as an additional power source to extend the limited onboard battery life. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend using it while actively playing, as it essentially acts as a charger when the headset isn't in use, which doesn’t help much given the already low battery life due to age. In summary, it's a great strap but falls short as a viable power source during use. So, I am back to plugging my headset in most of time for long use. So, don't buy this for the battery. You will be disappointed.

This product came as a lifesaver! My son broke the straps to his oculus and needed a replacement desperately. I saw this item not only serves as a head strap but a power source as well which is awesome! The instructions were clear so it was a quick setup and battery life is good as well! The straps adjust to make it bigger or smaller for various head sizes. It also has some cool lights on the back which changes colors while in use. Definitely recommend

I bought the VR Head Strap for my son, and he absolutely loves it! He says it’s extremely comfortable, allowing him to play for hours without any discomfort. The integrated battery is a game changer, giving him up to 8 hours of extended playtime. He can enjoy his favorite VR games without worrying about the battery running out. Plus, the adjustable hinge and lightweight design make it easy to use for anyone. This product has greatly enhanced his VR experience, and I highly recommend it.

This has been a great addition to my meta quest 2. It installed easily within less than 5 minutes.i love the tightening feature with the dial on the back, makes for an easy and comfortable adjustment. The lights on the back display are a fun addition to an otherwise sleek look.Overall I am very happy with what I have recieved!

This works great with my son's Meta Quest 2 VR headset. The setup was easy and we liked the added lights. He is a pro gamer both on PC and VR headset, on the VR he can easily spend 2 hours playing Rec room game and since his VR headset is already 2 years old he needed an external battery. He has a long cable but this battery pack is more comfortable and safer than the long cable. So far he doesn't complain about this battery pack. He said it is more relaxed than the headset itself since the weight shifted off his face.

This for the price is worth it. It charges quickly. Adds 3 hours of play time and it works easily with the Quest 2.

Not what it shows on picture for the ends don’t fit into the vr headset for this is a bad example of product to sell I am disappointed just like the last I bought going to Kyle Thomas this is the second time I sent a package and same result …. Make the products fit as you say or you have considered to known as fraudulent and unreasonable to what you say for I follow a man’s word and as far as I’m concerned this time this package was a lie

I got this for my daughter's Q2, we have one similar already so pretty familiar with these.For starters, its easy to setup, the lights look amazing. The look kinda drew me to this one, plus the battery was a bit bigger than on my other one.It does works good, like it's supposed to,no issue with its proformance, but the battery didn't last as long as my other one. It gets about 5-hrs of play time.It's just disappointing bc it's to small for my kids, even my 11 yr old daughter. We took the cushion off the back piece, I like that you have that option. But then, with the cushion off it's a bit to big and wobbly, and with it on, they can't use it. I think it's a great design, they just need to make it more adjustable. So yeah, kinda sucks. But, if you got a tiny head, this would be perfect for you. Even with kids it may not fit, as I said my tiny 11yr old daughter couldn't comfortably wear it, so keep that in mind if you purchase. Hope this helps.
