This was exactly what we needed! We had a deep kitchen drawer we used to store bread and snacks but had no cover. This worked out perfect! It did take some trimming and careful measuring but once in works perfectly!

Well, that was a nightmare to install. No directions included which is unfathomable. But it's in now and works fine.

I bought these to fit in a 100 year old cupboard. Cutting was total pain in the ***. You better have an engineering mind to figure out rails and lift so drawer fits back in and top slide. I got it, but I wouldn't recommend.

This item looked good in the ad ... but the reality is it's just a thick piece of plastic with two side rails .... and in my case 5 small screws (you should use/get 6). It came with no instructions or information .... you just had to figure it out yourself. It's not hard to trim or mount if you have some basic skills .... but after I was finished .... I thought ... this wasn't worth the money. I'll keep it now that it's trimmed and mounted but I wouldn't recommend it.

No directions so had to guess how it works. But I love this. Fit with no trimming too. Automatically slides to open and close drawer which is great. Nice to have a bread drawer!

I love this bread drawer cover! My husband cut it down using his Fein multi tool on low speed and it worked great. It’s so nice not having to have our breads on the counter any longer. This cover is very durable and easy to install for someone with only basic knowledge.

The bread drawer sliding lid kit was as it appeared in the picture & easy to install. (I followed the advice of the 5-star-consumer who laid the trim-able lid on the drawer, marked it with a pencil and scored it with a utility knife.) I DID use a carpenter's square to make sure that the cuts were perpendicular and scored it multiple times to make sure that the cut was deep enough. Then I lay it on a hard surface, lining up the scored edge with the edge of the hard surface and slowly bent it downward causing the excess to snap off. The mounting screws were just the right size. After predrilling for them, they went in easily & tightened up onto the grooved glides. Now I don't have to worry about those darned mice that occasionally got into my bread drawer! PS I'm not a carpenter, just a 59-year-old housewife, so it should be an easy install for most people!

I ordered this product not for use as a bread drawer, but because I live in a nearly 200 year old house that seems to welcome mice, no matter what we do. I use this drawer to protect my utensils from the mice. And it does work!Admittedly, the product is nothing special. It is only a pair of runners and a sheet of plastic, and I suppose someone particularly handy could fabricate one themselves. Installation requires cutting the plastic to size, attaching the runners, and that's about it. In our case, there was insufficient clearance for the runners, so the sides of the drawers had to be sanded down a bit -- hence the 4 star rating.I can't attest to the product's capacity as a bread drawer, but it does block rodents from my utensils, and for that, job well done.

I love that my bread is kept fresh and don't have to use a breadbox taking up room on my countertop anymore. This is a great alternative to buying new cabinets that include a built-in bread drawer (not that buying new cabinets was EVER a consideration!).I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about in the difficulty in measuring and cutting this. I had no trouble with it and cut and installed it in less than 30 minutes. I am not so handy with a saw so was glad to see that it just required a razor blade and a drill. I took the drawer I was attaching this cover to and turned it upside down onto the cover, centered it, and marked the outer edges with a pencil line to get the exact width. I took the cover into the garage and ran a razor blade down the inside of the pencilled lines about 10 times with force, using a yard stick as a straight guide, and then just easily bent the pieces off once the score was deep enough. I attached the cover guides onto the drawer using the included screws and the cover easily slid into the guides and the project was done! Easiest thing ever! Love it!
