Lid a big harder to get off than OEM carafe. Also it seems to hold in the heat better as it steams up inside and my old one didn't. But it's just fine. I was a klutz and broke the original (after 8 years). This one came in 2 days and saved me! Can't live without my Moccamaster coffee in the morning!

Far superior than the one that originally came with the Moccamaster machine (Technivorm). The pour is smoother and doesn’t spill. The handle is stronger and more ergonomic, and the glass feels stronger and more durable. After breaking the original carafes 2x over 4 years with relatively innocuous bumps while cleaning them, I can say this one is much better.

Daughter accidentally broke my moccamaster original coffee pot so had to purchase a replacement. This one is pretty good quality and actually poors better. If you need a replacement this one is definitely a solid option

Excellent replacement for the poorly designed original carafe that came with Moccamaster. Glass is thicker, better handle and spout.

The handle on this replacement has a rounded shape which is much more comfortable to hold compared to the original carafe that came with the coffee maker. The glass on this replacement is also thicker. The pouring spout has a different shape and works well. It is a perfect fit in the coffee maker. Overall a much better design than the original.

This carafe looks and fits just like the original. The only differences are improvements. The glass is thicker, hopefully will last longer than the original one, I’ve replaced it 3 times already, breaks just looking at it and the pour spout drips. This one doesn’t drip, also it’s dishwasher safe, original no. Happy with my purchase.
