El material es bueno el problema es que es un poco flojo y parece que se va a desarmar si no se tiene cuidado de pronto si le ponían algún pasador o algo para que no se pliege accidentalmente

This is an awesome grill, but it needs a base to collect the ash.The hot ashes drop down onto whatever this grill is sitting on. I use a steel pan underneath, and can then place it on a wooden pic-nic table, but without the metal base, it will destroy anything under it. However, it is just right for 5 hotdogs, or 2 braats (split open), or a couple of chicken breasts or 2 hamburgers. It is conservative on how much charcoal is needed, and you can cook 2 or 3 batches of food on 4lbs of Charcoal.

Pros: takes up only about as much space as a small laptop. Comes with a grate so it can be a tiny grill. Cons: Without the grate it can fold up unexpectedly. I found it a little tricky to dump the charcoal neatly since I was using the grate to keep it stable. It’s a little heavy to carry around in a pack so it’s firmly in the car camping category. Despite any messiness this charcoal chimney is coming on every camping trip from now on. Versatile and way more convenient to pack that my bulky barrel style chimney. This one didn’t come with a carry case but I repurposed a small zippered tote to keep the soot from getting on other gear.

I originally bought this as a potential space saver for family type camping trips to be primarily used as a charcoal chimney. This thing turned out to be a great little chimney, grill, frying pan burner and at one point a cast iron Dutch oven stand. I beat it up the first weekend I took it out and it took it like a champ and kept rolling. The only complaint I have is that the lower tabs, once popped out a bit for the grill then stick out meaning it will not fold as flat as when new. This is not a deal breaker by any means just a minor annoyance. This will remain a part of the family camp kit for sure. By being multi-functional I can actually reduce some of my equipment needs. At this time, I highly recommend this item and proved itself more useful and sturdy than anticipated.

Bought this for camping and trying to save room. My other charcoal chimneys are much bigger since they don't fold. This one does fold up pretty small and is actually much larger when unfolded. The other ones are around 6" round. I read this one us 8" square, but didn't realize how much bigger that makes this one. It is very sturdy once assembled. It is almost twice as heavy as I expected, which I wasn't crazy about until I used it. I took it camping and left both my propane stove and grill at home. I used this for cooking burgers and brats for me and my son. It was big enough for 2 burgers at a time and all 4 brats at once. I also used it with my cast iron skillet. Worked great cooking bacon and eggs. I will have to watch how much charcoal I put in it when I use it for dutch oven cooking. I usually fill my old chimneys to the top and this one holds almost twice as much.

This is my new favorite camping toy because it's so versatile. Many people with RV's use a charcoal chimney starter and haul around a large round one that takes up valuable space. I don't have that luxury of taking one of those with me because my RV is a small teardrop camper and space is always an issue. Most things on my rig need to be small and do double duty. In fact, most RVers no matter the size of their rig are always dealing with space and weight issues.I took the plunge and purchased this little gem! I was pleasantly surprised to see how sturdy it is, how versatile it is and how it folds flat. It's as heavy as those round charcoal chimney starters. I took it camping and put it to the test. I found that the second handle at the top comes in handy when dumping out the charcoal. Just be sure and use a heavy potholder or glove because it does get quite hot. It worked well to light the charcoal and did the job quickly. How about that grill on top? Does it work? It's looks awfully small. Well, I showed it to a group of teardrop campers while teaching a dutch oven cooking class and they laughed when it came to that grill. Don't get me wrong, they loved the fact that it folded and some of them went home and purchased one. I just wish that I had several of them going at once that day so I could have showed them how well that little grill can work. It doesn't take much charcoal and it works fine for one or two people. Think backpacker size and you will be fine. I can grill two hamburgers, four hot dogs, two ribeye steaks or four shish kabobs at any given time. I can even grill an entire meal on it by placing my veggies on first and then grilling the meat last. If you use a stainless steel lid on top, you can throw in a few smoke chips for some very good eating. I like a bit of hickory smoke on my steak! Ijust wish it came with a collapsible dome lid. The handle on top is a good place to hang my short stainless steel tongs while I am cooking too. Just be sure and use a heavy glove or oven mitt if you do that because they get very hot! I'm going to make a small S hook out of copper and attach it permanently to the handle so I can hang a small metal spatula for flipping burgers.Let me just say that this is still new and I am still experimenting with it. In the back of my mind, I have the feeling that I will also be able to place a two quart cast iron dutch oven on top and cook. As long as there is enough air space at the top. Backpacker sized pots and pans will work fine in this way. It's a good product for any camper or anyone that uses a charcoal grill. It folds up and stores easily with your grill so you don't have to go hunting for it. What? You don't have a shelf at the bottom of your grill? No problem. Place it on the grill rack after it cools down and put the dome lid back on.
