I just bought my second pair. My first pair survived my abuse and have held up well. No tears , no holes, Also like the variety of pockets. Very relaxed comfort fit.

I work full time as an auto mechanic on gas and diesel passenger vehicles so I put these pants through the wringer, and they are hearty pants, extremely durable. I have 3 pairs (2 grey and 1 black) and 3 of their shop shorts too. Have had them years now and no rips or tears. Ordered a black pair once that started splitting at multiple seems but Red Kap was quick to replace and haven’t had a problem with the replacement pair and that was about a year ago.Love the pockets. They have the normal 2 front and 2 back, along with a pouch on the left and 2 layer pockets on the right. Enough for a phone, pocket flashlight, pocket screwdriver, multitool, keys, and a wallet, and the occasional wrench or flathead. Have to check them multiple time before I throw them in the hamper so I don’t lose anything.They are true to size. Highly recommend these pants, really sturdy and they seem to let go of oil and grease easy enough in the wash too. Washing at home they don’t hang on to wrinkles so no need for professional cleaning. Will continue to buy these as long as I work automotive.

These pants perform great, wear weekly as a service tech crawling under buildings and servicing sump systems. These pants keep me dry, dirt brushes right off and they are abrasion resistant. These pants keep me warm when it’s cold and keep me cool when it’s warm. I love these pants. Fit great, a little loose, very durable, great pockets for storage and carrying items, fabric is tough, don’t wrinkle, look great and feel better!

I've only worn these two days in the shop, but so far I'm impressed with them. They are comfortable, have a great fit, and aren't too thin nor thick of a fabric. The double knees are still flexible enough to be comfortable, unlike some pants with double knees.I like the pockets, with the left cargo pocket having a flap to secure items, and the right-hand cargo pockets are left open to hold tools, pen, etc. The pockets on these pants seem well thought out.Will update when anything changes and to inform how long they last for me. My last pair of blue jeans ripped out in the thigh above the knee after only 2 to 3 months, but metal fabrication work is hard on my clothes.Edit: After some time, the buttonhole stitching has come undone. Now it's just a slit in the fabric and most of the threads have been pulled out and/or cut off. They still work but it's kind of a pain to button or unbutton the pants. Due to how they are made, it seems impossible to have someone else sew it back up properly.

The Red Kap Men’s Performance Shop Pants in tan are perfect for work. They’re durable, comfortable, and provide plenty of room for movement. Having worn these pants for a few months now here's some things I've learned. They wear pretty good although the one knee has a small rip due to briars. Other things are: the "button" for the waist is a bit tough to operate if you have arthritic hands/fingers being that it's "hidden" (not out in the open). And, the hind/hip pockets are almost too small to fit my hands into and are really too small to put much in to carry there, being they're not deep enough to keep things in securely. The left "thigh pocket", having a flap over it, is good but the right "thigh pocket" not having a flap doesn't tend to keep items inside it when you're active. I'm still up-in-the-air about whether I would buy these pants again. One thing I really appreciate about these trousers is the upper front pockets... they seem pretty tough (wear resistant) and are just deep enough and the bottoms of them are reinforced with an extra layer of material. These pants wear LOADS better than duluth's fire hose pants. I bought a second pair of these Red Kaps. If they modify the hip pockets and the right side-leg pockets I'll probably buy a few more pairs.

Aguanta mucho lavada sin perder el color la tela es muy resistente como la de los pantalones Caterpillar de hecho el corte se me hace más cómodo que el de los Caterpillar lo único que le falta es que no le pusieron tejido de cordura en los lugares más comprometidos como las rodillas o las partes bajas del pantalón pero por todo lo demás es un excelente pantalón

I really like these work pants. Being relatively tall and skinny i was worried they would be too big in places but they fit well and are very comfortable. The cargo pockets are very functional and strong and have no problem carrying small tools and pointy things like nails or screws. Some things I noticed when I got them was there were quite a few loose threads on various locations on all the pants. It doesn’t seem to be an issue of strength though and they’ve held up well after a few weeks of work. I like the amount, size, and strength of the belt loops as I do keep small tools on my belt. The elastic in the waist is also nice. The bottoms of the pant legs are straight and leave plenty of room for my work boots. Often I have to lay or kneel in gravel and dirt, and the legs and double knee have no problem with rough surfaces and it just brushes off. The weight of material isn’t too thin but is still tough enough to get beat around. Overall I would recommend these!
