Habits That Could Ruin A Clutch
1.Driving too slowly: A clutch starts to engage in the Engagement Speed. Driving at full throttle gives the clutch a chance to cool down. Full throttle locks the shoes in the clutch against the drum. When the clutch is not locked up, it will cause tremendous heat which dries up the lubrication in the oil impregnated bushing and damage the clutch.
2.Short stop and go driving: The longer you drive at full throttle the better off it is for the clutch, because it gives it a chance to cool off before the next engagement.
3.Driving with the foot on the brake: Drive with one foot on the pedal, be it the brake or the gas but not to press on both pedals at the same time.
4.Changing the size of the tires: Putting on tires that are larger than what came with the kart will cause premature wear to the clutch.
5.Restrictions: Don't try and reduce a go kart speed by limiting the travel of the gas pedal or by putting a restrictor in the carburetor to limit full rpm. Either of these methods will result in the clutch slipping, which is self destructive.

One of the clutch springs let go in my wife’s Schwinn scooter, it took about 45 minutes to change! Before it broke the scooter used to pull at stoplights because the springs were weak, now it sit still until you give it gas awesome clutch!

I was very skeptical about it being so cheep compared to other clutchs but im really impressive with the quality it fit perfectly bearings where smooth it has a very clean quiet engagement at the perfect RPM no weird sounds doesn't make a sound when not engaged which is pretty impressive on the alignment even the original OEM clutch made noise when you rolled my scooter from the drum not being 100% true around clutch pads my scooter does about 60 miles an hour and I ran it about 150 Miles without an issue I got it within 2 days of ordering I don't see any reason I wouldn't get 10,000 plus miles out of this even if I didn't I still would buy another one I could literally get three of these for the price of the OEM clutch
