The puller bolt makes clutch removal very , I put a small amount of oil on the threads to make it smooth to thread into cluthck shaft. It takes longer to get ready to remove the clutch,then to remove it .That would be the purpose of the bolt.

This Kawasaki Mule 610 drive/driven clutch removal tool successfully removed the drive clutch on my Mule but wouldn't budge the driven clutch. As can been seen in the photo, the end of the shaft is bent and the tip is slightly mushroomed. This was ordered in July and only put to use this week so, unfortunately, the window for a return is in the past. Had to order a new tool from a supplier that labels their part as "made in USA".
