Expected the backplate for my phone which was in the description. Not in the kit at all. Just some cheap easily broken tools and a film cover for the backplate. I still need to find a backplate. Recommend DON’T buy this

First off, this is not a project for the faint of heart! If you try to replace this yourself I highly suggest you watch multiple YouTube videos on it before starting, and don’t expect it to be quick and easy! As far as the kit goes, I will say that it provides MOST of the items that you will need to replace the back glass. However, it doesn’t provide all of them. Depending how in-depth you want to go with the breakdown of your phone to do this replacement you’re going to need screwdrivers to take it apart which aren’t included. It does include a set of tweezers, but I will say I ended up using a different set bc the ones provided didn’t work that great. I highly suggest you wear gloves and glasses during this process too, as you will get glass everywhere and the last thing you want is it in your eyes. Getting all of the old glass off and glue off is a very tedious task, it took me several days before I was finally able to get it all done. Outside of the craziness of the actual project itself, I will say that the glass looks great once it was finally complete!! And so far the adhesive of the new back seems to be holding up good.

Not sure what else to do but it works. Left my phone in the hot Denver sun and the original glass was coming off. I used a heat gun for about 1/4 of the remaining glass that was stuck.This took a good hour to clean off the glass before I could fit the new back. Followed instructions for applying and let it cure.Overall I like this kit, however the instructions are awful. I found it best to use the hobby knife while applying heat and poke the top under loosening as much as you can.

After replacement, Back cover broke with case on, from a fall that might have been a couple feet from the floor.
