I used a traffic cone as a funnel/hopper to fill the inner bladder with sand. Worked well, did it by myself with ease. If you had a second set of hands, even easier.

Bladder is not ideal. I used a heavy duty trash bag inside and filled with 55lbs of sand. Works great

The zipper slot is a little too small to fill. Double zipper is a good idea because one zipper was broken when I got my product. A good product overall.

Initially I used old 10 lb plates as the zipper allows larger objects then after I stubbed my toe I went the sand route. Fill it outside as the hole in the fabric bladder isn't very large but thats what you want so minimal sand falls out. Haven't had any sand fall out and I move it around alot. It's got a zip tie between the zippers to it doesn't open up. Perfect

Great addition for my heavy bag. It keeps the bag from swinging all over the place from my brute strength. Haha! Just kidding. But it is very helpful. Especially when doing kicks. It does hold the bag fairly solid. And you’re not interrupted by having to constantly adjust the bag between blows. Keep the workout flowing.

Works perfectly! I followed the how-to videos found all over the internet and was prepared when it arrived. I filled ziplock bags with sand and sealed them with duct tape. I made six small sandbags and loaded them through the zipper into the inner lines compartment. Then I attached a bungee cord and it is now holding my heavy bag and keeping it from swaying.

I've read all the reviews, but the best way to fill this is to get two 50 lb bags of sand and dump the sand into 2.5 gallon heavy duty zip top plastic bags, filling them each about 2/3 with sand so they can still fit through the zip opening of the anchor bag, which is about 10 inches wide. It will take about 5 or 6 of the 2.5 gallon bags to fill it. I've read that many people try to fill the bladder with sand through a funnel, why? That's hard work and redundant, plus the ties of the bladder don't close very tight and sand will leak out in the inside anyway. With the 2.5 gallon zip top bags nothing will leak out inside the anchor bag. I also read that one person said they just put the entire 50 lb of sand into the anchor bag, the 50 lb bag will not fit through the 10 inch wide zipper opening of the anchor bag. Aside from that this looks and feels like a high quality product.

Works well, but the fill hole was a bit too small, so it took a long time to fill it correctly with sand. Also, it was bigger around than the RDX bag that I got. So now it is about two and a half times as big around as my bag is, which poses a problem for certain strikes or kicks.

The bag appears to be manufactured well. I put 50lbs of sand inside the bag and will need another 50lbs. I did not like the inner bag which just ties to close. I feel when the bag is filled with sand, it will still spill a little sand because it doesn’t seal tightly. Time will tell.

This bag looks great and compliments the RDX HEAVY BAG NICELY. You will need a bungee chord or a strap to connect to bag. RDX offers the strap on RDXSPORTS.COM. homds bag from swinging all over the place very wellTo fill bag with sand, Use an UNOPENED 50 Pound bag of play sand 1/2 cubic foot. (Can get at Home Depot or Lowes for about $4-$5) Do not open sand bag. Slide the bag in to the RDX anchor and zipper it shut. Pick up and drop a couple times from waist high and it will take shape Done! Super easy to fill. Thanks to another poster on a similar product for the idea.
