  • 3:1 Coil binding ring means per inch has 3 holes
  • 4:1 Coil binding ring means per inch has 4 holes
  • This is very important distinguish 3:1 from 4:1 cause the things to be as different. 4:1 means per inch has 4 holes. They are used with different binding machine. This was my first time diy "ing" spiral notebooks with plastic coils. Love these! Sturdy and flexible perfectly spaced coils for the 3 point hole punched paper and they wound right into place so easily. Recommended highly by this crafter!

I have been writing a Bible devotions and designed laser wood covers and backs. After measuring the spines I created a laser template to match the punch of the paper. When lined up the spines go in very easily and hold my books nicely together. I order my second box and will continue to order as I need them. Very happy.

Exactly what I needed for my project! 3:1 pitch worked perfectly with the six hole punch. No need for a machine to insert them, easily turned in by hand and easily trimmed to size with scissors.

Love these, pitch is 3:1. Easy to trim and bend. Just wish they came in a smaller quantity option, too.

This coil is great, fantastic price, ratio is accurate. I didn’t read the description well when I ordered it, so I was expecting something with a little more sturdiness. Laminated (5 mil) 19 heavy duty pages, and this coil holds great. I would probably not go thicker than 20-21 laminated pages personally. Non-laminated I think you could easily do 50 pages. No issues with hold, and it trims well. Easy to use, I currently use a 6 punch and manually bind. Very simple.
