Great product. Good price and easy to install on/beside my rocky driveway. Took my time hammering them in with a small 4x4 block and they turned out very well.

Holy moly these things are great and not just for the price. Massive, strong and easy to use.

Avoids hassle of concrete. Very straight forward to install, just make sure 4x4 isn't too green or you'll have to sand it down or dry it to get it to fit in slot.

This replaced a rusted out mailbox post holder. It was a little longer but went is very easily and hopefully will last as long as the precious one did! Shipment was faster than expected too!

Needed to provide additional strength to two 18 feet horizontal beams connected to solid metal/concrete posts. Fairly easy set/up and the 4 by 4 seems pretty sturdy. Did not wanted to dig and use concrete or foam, yet for longer fences I would have. We will see if frost during next Michigan winter will pop the spike up, but for now 5 stars...

I really like these since I'm a small women and have to install a fence myself. I used them for a 4ft. picket fence installation. I'mNow sure I was use them for anything g higher than that. Unless you poured concrete Into and around the spike. Which would defeat the purpose. Or did every other post with a regular 4x4 post and post hole digger, but if it's a light fence. They're great. I will not be buying anymore until Amazon puts the price back where it was or close to it. Amazon has ahabit of upping prices on popular items or items that start getting higher ratings. I guess they figure they'll take advantage of buyers and make more money since more people want them and they're getting better reviews.

Tolerances poor. Couldn't get the starter block out once pounded into ground.

Just installed 500 feet of 5 foot pocket fence in my yard using these. They seem to be of good construction but would use a bit better quality hardware for the tighteners. They install easy and were a breeze to use.

Worked great. Make sure to call your utility and have them mark lines in your yard first. Hitting a gas / water line can ruin your weekend. Always pre drill the post holes with a long drill bit to find out if rocks will stop your progress. If so just move a few inches. As for the extra long drill bit you will need- Those are in the electrical section of your home store. The one I bought was 55" end to end x 1/2 I think. They are made to drill through cieling headers and floors to run cable. Next- buy a fence post level. Those are usually in the tool section. Tape the drill bit at the desired depth of your spike. That way you know how far down to drill. Use an electric drill and make that hole. Use a sacrificial piece of 4x4 with the fencepost level attached to drive your spike. Check the level after every few blows. I used these to set 8' posts for cantina lights.

Have not used these yet , but just a visual examination, and being a fabricator/ welder for 55 years, comparing these to the big box store one I bought recently at more then double the price, these appear to be a bargain. That being said, I purchased SImpson post mounts before and the were still fine when we sold our home. They were in the ground 20 years! So only time will tell if these are 50% or better.
