They fit the humidifier well once the fold is smoothed out. They work well for a month, maybe longer if your water isn't as hard as mine. Eventually mineral build up stops the wicking action but that's when you are glad you got the two pack. As good as any brand I've used including the one that came with the humidifier.

I received our order and the filters do not fit our humidifier. The compatibility description is in error.Item description states: PUREBURG MAF2 Replacement Wick Filters Compatible with Essick Moist AIRCARE MA0600, MA0601, MA0800 and MA08000, Kenmore 15408, 154080, 17006 Humidifiers,2-Pack. We have a AIRCARE, MA08000, and these filters are about four inches too short to completed the circle required to fully fill the filter space.

I've tried almost every filter that claims to work for the Kenmore 15508 filters. Pureburg is about the only brand that actually works and lasts at least 2 weeks.

The 1st problem is it was a bit short on the length it did not fit my unit very well even though it is listed for it. The 2nd problem is after washing it after a month of use it practically disintegrated see image

Work just fine. My humidifier uses one about once or twice a month. I have well water. Use a humidifier bacteriostatic liquid to prolong filters and humidifier. Amazon has this at a good price.
