My toy poodle is super picky and she needs a rotation of toppers for her to even be interested in her food. While this works, I’ve purchased this several times with Amazon and it always comes expired. I’ve reported it several times and no fix yet.

She would not eat this stuff. I am sure it is no fault of the product, she is just a pain and doesn't like anything.

This is her "can I have some more, please?" look. She really loves this stuff! We have purchased a number of different freeze-dried products over the years & this one is unique for a couple of reasons 1) The simplicity of ingredients (beef liver, heart, & mixed tocopherols) and 2) the powdered form, which makes application as a topper or treat a breeze! My dog is very picky and she gets bored with her food easily, so the Over The Topper Meal Enhancer does what it's supposed to do - which is enhance her meal, which then re-ignites her interest. She will lick her bowl clean with this sprinkled on the top. The packaging it comes in leaves a bit to be desired though so I'm going to transfer the contents to a mason jar to keep it fresh.

Our dog loved it! He isn't too keen on eating dry food and we've had to stop adding wet food to it as he has begun to pack on the pounds! I thought this might help to make the dry food a bit more palatable for him and it definitely did. Unfortunately, he was SO exuberant in finishing his meal that he proceeded to throw up everything he ate. I know it was just because he ate so fast because it has happened before when he was excited about eating something. Hopefully, we'll be able to figure out how to slow him down so that he can keep enjoying the topper! I definitely recommend it if your dog DOESN'T eat like a PIG!

Our 7-month-old hound mix wasn't eating her kibble. The vet said kibble was best for her, but she didn't like it. I was spending too much money on canned food and dog treats. Then I tried this on top of the kibble and it was a game changer. It has a strong smell that she loves and that seems to make all the difference.

One of our dogs would not show interest in food I’d say 50% of the time we put it down for her. We have been using over the topper (both flavors, switching out when one flavor runs out) for months now and have noticed a significant difference! She rarely ever is not interested in her food anymore and always eats every last bite. Our other dog is pretty sensitive to ingredients in a lot of dog food/treats and never has a reaction to Pupford products. Highly recommend Pupford’s Over The Topper along with their treats!
