Surface of tape started cracking as I installed it. After a few rides, the top surface started coming off. This image is after about 7 rides.

Tape broke during install. I was applying steady pressure and wrapping and it just broke. I thought maybe I was being rough with it, but I grabbed some of the no-name stock foam bar tape that I had just removed and it was more than 2x stronger. It was also already showing signs of peeling during install. I bought the electric green so maybe its just the color, but I was very disappointed.

Parece que son cintas muy viejas, las coloqué y en la primer rodada (menos de 20 km) empezaron a deshacerse.

Está muy bien para el precio y es bastante cómoda. Lo único malo es que se rompe toda al quitarla por lo que si hay que mover los mandos de la bici se necesita cambiar la cinta

I bought this bar tape because of the color and someone told me it was extremely comfortable. Per the recommendation, the bar tape is really comfortable, I installed myself leaving it a little bulky, I like it that way for more vibration dampening and less palm and wrist pain. The installation was really easy, the double sided tape on the back lets you go forwards and back a couple of times to achieve the perfect fit and still sticks very well.After installation, the bar tape looks awesome, the black Profile Design finishing tape with the white logo give it a pro look and the color ir extremely bright! Nevertheless, after just two rides with gloves, the bar tape just on the top behind the hoods of the levers is staining in a brownish color, probably from the black palms of my Giro gloves. I was hoping this would happen a lot later or after more rides and I cannot take the stain out, I have tried with soap, a degreaser, a soft disolvent but nothing works. I still like how it looks but, when I am riding and see the stains, it drives me kinda crazy...I already bought a second bar tape to have as a spare, so I still like it a lot but be aware of the possibility of a brown stain if you use it with black palm gloves.I hope it helps!MB

Looks and feels awesome. I had the original Bontrager tape and always ended up with numb hands on longer rides. This feels much better and added even more good looks which is almost as important as performance. The tape has adhesive backing and it is plenty stretchy so you don’t have to worry about ripping it when you apply the tape like with cork or others . At this price point it is just awesome...

Good quality, easy to wrap, durable, but beware the lighter colors. They will show dirt pretty fast (I know, I know, I should have thought of that before I picked neon yellow as my bike’s accent color).

I thought I'd add a review as most of the reviews are older and new information is, well, good. I've purchased this tape for several bikes in black, red and blue. I'll bet I've used it on five bikes over the past year.What I like about it: It has a slightly spongy feel and the basketball-type texture feels great on the hands. Even when sweating up a storm, the tape never gets slippery. Despite what you might think, at least for the black, red and blue tape, dirt is not a problem despite the texture. The package includes enough tape to wrap both bars with about 4" to spare and includes some nice finishing tape (which is much better feel and quality than electrical tape). The bar end caps are black domed gel type and work well; two are included. The tape is strong enough that you can pull it quite tight and the adhesive holds it securely. Don't plan, though, to reuse this tape; the adhesive is quite strong.What I think needs improvement: Depending on the color you order, the tape either has a black backing or a white backing. One order of red tape came with black backing and one came with white backing. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme-or-reason to which you get. The black tape did have a black backing and the blue tape had a white. From my experience, the white backed tape is lower quality than the black backed tape. I've noticed that, when using the white tape, the adhesive wants to stick to the pull strip and less to the tape itself, so you run the risk of pulling the adhesive off when installing. The white tape also seems to tear and stretch more easily.With all that said, I like this tape. I like it enough to buy it five times and it's currently on all of the bikes I ride.

Sieht gut aus und ist einfach anzubringen. Man kann auch problemlos wieder ein kurzes Stück abziehen und neu ankleben, wenn man sich verklebt hat. Hält bisher sehr gut und ist angenehm weich und griffig. Kein Rutschen mehr. Habe bisher aber nur ein paar kurze Strecken geradelt, da momentan das Wetter nicht so toll ist.

Feels amazing and is very easy to put on the handlebars. Definitely an upgrade from the traditional cork handlebar tape. Grippier and softer.

Color is awesome, but the green part separates from the white part of the tape when trying to re apply during the wrapping process.
