I like giving these to guests or taking them for overnight situations. I keep one in the car for just in case situations as well. Very strong and easy to use

The product is advertised as "Convenient single-use design for hassle-free disposal after use." This is far from the truth as it can be used more than once depending on how it is used. I was able to use one of my towels for more than a month before it started tearing. Others may have different results based on use. To say that these are single-use kind of goes against the idea of sustainability and conservation. All that aside, these towels do a good job of absorbing moisture. They're soft as well.

These are a must have for the camper and the car for "in case of emergency". These are individually wrapped so they always stay clean, and are small enough to stick under a seat or in the car door. They have come in very handy when the dog decides to take an unplanned swim in the lake.

I've forgotten to bring a towel camping a time or two. I've had to resort to using either my clothes or paper towels to dry off. Not anymore. The first thing that impressed me was the thickness of the paper. It definitely doesn't feel like paper. It was thick enough that I would have said it was a thin cotton towel at least. It's not rough at all, really being more like fabric than paper. Then when I unfolded it, I noticed it was bigger than my towels at home! It was big enough that I actually cut it in half to see if it would dry me thoroughly. Yep, even HALF of the towel was enough for me to dry completely after a shower. I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs so you can figure out if half would work for you as well. I also have shorter hair so it's not like I had a lot of hair to dry. Even so, I was more than impressed with it's ability to absorb water. I have a hook style towel hanger, but the towels don't have any way to hang them. So I simply cut a small hole in a corner of the towel and it works just fine. The hole never got any bigger, like you would assume when using paper. I used the half-towel for at least 3 showers and I saw no evidence of it falling apart or tearing. I would have used it longer but once it fell onto the wet ground on the way back to the RV, I thought I would toss it. But not before I used it to clean the windows and do some other cleaning chores. I never used it with any chemicals while cleaning, so I don't know how it would hold up in those conditions. So this sounds perfect, right? My only complaint was that it had kind of a funky smell before I used it and it only got stronger when it was damp. Nothing outrageous, but if my towels at home smelled like this I would be putting them in the washer. Take away the smell and it would have easily gotten 5 stars.

There aren’t many situations where having one of these would just be sooooo much better than having a real towel, but disposable is king when it comes to hassle free. I tried one out for the first time the other day and I’m surprised at how durable it is as I was expecting something paper thin that absolutely does not dry you off. They’re not as thick as a real towel, but more than absorbent enough that they actually fully dried me after a real shower. I’m 175 lbs, 5’2” and found the towel size to be incredibly sufficient. I used it a few times just to test durability and by about the third or fourth use, it began to get scruffy and leave little fuzz balls on me. Considering these are technically not geared toward multi-use, I think I definitely got the good out of it. Another bright side of them is that they don’t take up a lot of room and are very lightweight, making them super travel friendly. Now, your reasons for wanting these may vary and I can think of several instances where they’d come in handy (beach vacations, camping weekends, hiking, etc.) However, it would be far more economical to invest in a good quick dry towel you can use over and over again. Being stuck with a wet towel can be a little suckey, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s not the end of the world. Plus, quick dry towels are light weight even when wet, if you wring them out properly. These disposable towels are good for what they are and actually do their intended job, but I honestly can only recommend them for emergency situations. For example, keeping one in your glove box just in case you get caught in a torrential downpour. Stuff like that. Otherwise, they’re just not really a practical item. I still recommend them, just not for every day scenarios.

I think I was expecting these towels to fluff up when exposed to moisture. My bad. The product description doesn't say anything about that.I used one out of the bathtub as a test run for taking them swimming at the Y. It was absorbent. I got perfectly dry. One side is sort of fluffy and soft, and the other is like a waffle knit. They are about the size and consistency of those Handi-Wipe cleaning towels. I used to use those, and they lasted forever! Thicker than paper towels, yet reminiscent of them, these don't shred or tear.My plan is to take them to the Y for after swimming. Even a big, thick, fluffy regular towel never seems quite enough to deal with the chlorine rinse-off shower, a wet locker room floor, and dripping hair. I figure a towel like this takes up little room in the gym bag and will help when my regular towel is too damp to finish the job.I do think one can get a couple of uses from them, but they are not going to last long, and they can't really be washed (although a careful handwash might work). I'm sure they will start weakening and shredding after a few uses. The length and width are enough to dry off an adult after a bath or shower or dip. I think their uses are limited, but for sports, travel, camping, or as a backup after swimming, they are sure to come in handy.
