Took some time to set up but you tube videos helped. My daughter has played violin for years and was able to easily play this instrument. She does have some musical gifts and can play string instruments by ear, which helped! Recommend.

Comes partially set up. Took sometime to tune it since we have never done it before. Good piece of equipment. Too bad shipping not included and no prime shipping.

Wanting to play the erhu, I didn't want to pay too much for my first one should it not work out, but then I didn't want a cheap one either. This one was about middle of the road price for the beginners that I've seen, and overall is pretty good.

This is not “professional” rerhu as AD. It belongs to the low class for the beginber. The quality for erhu itself is ok but the bow is horrible. It is too short like for kids. Its hair are loose and messy, hope to get a replacement. Oherwise have to buy a new one.

A very good Erhu at a very reasonable price. It came quickly and nicely packaged. It sounded so much better than my daughter's beginner man-made material one.

Just like the title says. It's great, the quality overall is great. I don't feel any cheapness around at all.it's worth the money.If anything, it's not set up, so you'll have to do that. But it's awesome. WORTH IT. the seller I bought from was "Sound of Asia Musical Instruments"and they ship/deliver VERY FAST. I recommend them.

Fast, excellent service from the seller. And the erhu is a work of art....beautifully crafted of fine wood, and perfect in its construction and quality. Plays beautifully, with pure, sweet tone and excellent response. I could not, particularly at its price, asked for better. A wonderful, superlative instrument. I could not be more pleased.

This Erhu is listed on Amazon as a "Professional Dunhuang Erhu", with "Model 04A" in the description, as a professional instrument. Yet on the Dunhuang website, this same instrument is listed as "Beginner ErHu Model #4A" ([...])The instruments looks fine, but this is very misleading.
