Did the hoby, wish the plastic on the extended nozzle wasn't so prone to kinking at the gun several times when I wasn't paying attention and squeezed the trigger a kink causes fluid film to blast out at the connection and all over me, luckily I was wearing my PPE. Anyone know if this thing can handle raptor liner?

I bought this kit to undercoat my tacoma frame with FF (i'd use the other non smelly brand but they don't ship to Hawaii), I was happy to see this company ships their undercoating kit to Hawaii, a lot of companies with similar undercoating kits will not ship to Hawaii or they're crazy expensive. I have never used a compressed air tool before and am generally not handy so there were some things I learned if you've never used one either:1. Trip one to the hardware store. Bought an air compressor and hose. I bought a 6 gallon pancake style one. Bought the only hose they had; didn't realize you have to buy fittings for some of them as well. try to get a hose with the coupler and plug already on there. The sprayer screws into a 1/4" female plug which then goes into the air hose's universal coupler.2. Trip 2 to the hardware store. Saw I had no way to connect the hose to the sprayer and bought the universal 1/4" coupler and 1/4" female plug (1/4" FNPT I/M) to connect the air hose to the sprayer. I don't know if there's a better female plug to use, i just tried the I/M one and it worked for me3. Trip 3 to the hardware store. Saw I had no way to connect the other end of the hose to the compressor's coupler. Bought another female 1/4" NPT plug to connect the other end of the air hose to the air compressor's universal 1/4" coupler.4. trip 4 to the hardware store. bought teflon tape. Apparently, air hoses need them or they leak.for those of you who have used compressed air before i'm sure this is all very obvious. luckily my hardware store is 2 min away. For the sprayer itself, i didn't have the issue that people talk about with the fluid film exploding on me. I set the psi to 40 on the compressor. I screwed the end of the nozzle, or 360 degree hose when I used it, 2 revolutions then locked it down with the locking nut. I did notice it loosened up by the time I was done with the sprayer and swapped to the hose, and it also was loose when I was done with the hose, that might've been user error. Either way, nothing exploded on me. the 360 degree wand was nice to get into the hard-to-reach spots inside the frame that are most rust prone.I was crawling under my truck to do all this since I don't have access to a lift, and used an organic vapor respirator and goggles, gloves, coveralls. I was spraying it close to my face at some points, safety data sheet says use an organic vapor respirator. I parked my truck on a tarp, didn't want this stuff on my drivewayCompany also was very helpful in answering all my dumb questions and quick to respond!

Recieved item. Item did not work out of the box. Would only spray air and not any fluid unless i shook the gun extremely hard or if i plugged the two little vent holes on top. Tried adjusting the tip a hundred times as well as my air pressure. Nothing worked

Was happy to see it was made in Italy instead of China. Seems to be made very well and worked great for spraying Fluid film

I like the fact that the lanolin undercoating did not require heating at 70 degrees. The long wands were able to reach the deepest panel and frame recesses on my 2017 Tacoma. The only weakness is the stiff plastic tubing tends to kink and back up pressure in the gun, which spews undercoating upward and all over the work piece and the operator. What the heck, I'm well conditioned now. I would not use this gun with the stiff tube wands with asphalt or other solvent based undercoating compounds. The stiff tubing could easily be replaced with a soft kink-resistant tubing if this feature bothers you. I was aware of this weakness when I purchased it and still give it five stars.

This tool worked very well.Prep:To start, this was the first time I have ever done this process. I used a small pancake compressor that was 3.5 hp, and it worked really well. I wire wheeled and scraped all visible rust first... on my back, on our driveway, with a crawler to help me move easily. I then placed down cheap painters plastic and started the process. I had my vehicle (Honda Element) up on jack stands an additional 8" to make maneuvering easier. Wear Goggles and trash clothes.Application:I had one gallon of Fluid Film. I never used it all. I filled the 3 containers provided in this kit, and then placed them in a pot of water that was on simmer on my stove. I read that you should warm it up, so I did.I then found the consistency of spray I wanted by unscrewing (a little at a time), the plastic spray hose where it connects to the gun, while spraying into the one gallon container of Fluid Film. Then I started spraying.FIRST, I sprayed inside every hole and opening I could fit the line into. This is the slightly tricky part because if you crimp the plastic line, it will shoot a spray of fluid film out of the top of the container... A LOT of it. I only made this mistake 3 times total. Wasn't a big deal. I also removed the rubber drain plugs and sprayed inside of them.SECOND, I sprayed the rusty parts of the undercarriage and every part of the car I could reasonably get to.Total time of spraying was about 1.5 hoursTotal time of rust removal beforehand was about 10 hours.Hope this helps.
