I prefer this moisture shield over other brands. It fits well because of the shape and size.It keeps drying air out and I see pretty well wearing it.I wish the elastic band was a bit wider.

This product gave me tremendous relief from dry eye irritation and pain. After my Bell's Palsy diagnosis I found being outdoors was quite difficult to manage. I was also concerned about not being able to blink my eye to protect it. Then I discovered this product that I can carefully fit under my glasses and sunglasses. The fogging is a bit of a challenge that I learned to leave it be. Eventually the fogging clears and keeps my eye moist and protected-like a see thru eye lid. I wear it most of the day indoors and outdoors. I highly recommend this product!

it does retain much of the moisture that evaporates from your eye, so adding eye drops is much less necessary. So fogging is unavoidable - in fact its proof that moisture is being retained for your eye. It also protects from wind when you're outside. I wish a more neutral color was an option, white really stands out if you are out in public - so I feel inhibited from wearing it when on errands to stores etc. The elastic cord stretches after a few days of use and I've had to tie a knot in each of them.

These are nice. The size of the elastic strap is a bit long, but it's easier to put a knot in it so it fits better than to be to small. It's comfortable enough to sleep with. Had cancer surgery and lost the ability to close the eye. This helps keep moisture on the eye. Also works fantastic on windy days.

This is flimsy and it can't really be cleaned. But it mostly works under eyeglasses, which is why I bought it. I was able to reverse engineer this and make my own stronger versions, so at least I learned something. If you're dealing with a lack of blinking due to Bell's Palsy, this will give you some relief from the constant dry eye. But its life is VERY limited and the strap is insanely uncomfortable.

I don’t know why I thought these would be slightly opaque, but they’re not at all. They’re 100% transparent. If that’s what you’re looking for, they’re perfect quality. Comfortable, a good size, snug against the face. The seller was very kind, too. I feel bad even saying anything against them, but I want to make sure nobody else buys these with the same misconception I had.

I was diagnosed with Bell's palsy a month ago, so I invested in this moisture chamber. I will say that it absolutely does its job as intended, as far as keeping my affected eye from drying out. However, be aware of a few things. First, keeping the moisture in can translate to "the clear surface wants to fog up". I found that anti-fog drops did a good job of reducing this issue. The other thing that is important to mention is that the adhesive that holds the sponge onto the clear plastic is NOT water-resistant. This means that if your affected eye is watering, something that was an issue for me while the Bell's palsy was at its worst, your tears are going to start to make the adhesive give way.My solution for this problem was to use school glue. I figured that school glue would be the least hazardous thing I could put near my eye, as it's intended for use by kids who are notorious for not using things according to instructions, lol. I didn't want to use anything that was going to create fumes or irritate my already-affected eye even more. The school glue did its job: It did not bother my eye, the sponge stayed in place once the glue dried, and even the moisture from tears, eyedrops, and the occasional fogging issue did not make the sponge come loose again.I would absolutely purchase this again, if needed, but with the foreknowledge that if this is needed for an eye that is having trouble, I will have to be on the lookout for how the moisture created by the eye is affecting the adhesive.Oh, and I was definitely able to wear this under a few different kinds of glasses (including wraparound protective clear lenses when I was in need of keeping drafts from drying out my eyes).

I paid for a 2 pack. Only 1 was in the package. Returned the item, only to receive a replacement package with only 1. Amazon refunded and I will be ordering from a different company. I have been using these for a couple of months; the moisture chamber itself is fine.
