Love it. Precisely as it is shown on the picture. Very pliable. You just have to find the end to unroll it.

Yo buscaba una malla metรกlica para una jaula, y en la descripciรณn parecรญa lo que buscaba. Pero resulta que se trata de una malla para vendajes.

This is handy and very compact, but you need to know how to use it.I bought one years ago and it sat in my first aid kit. Then we were in Mongolia and the horse threw our guide in the middle of a national park and it looked like he sprained or had a small fracture of a wrist bone. It was great to be able pull this out and splint his wrist.Pros: cheap, tiny, does not expire, can be molded to fit whatever you need (although would probably not work on a large joint). A SAM splint is much nicer but It is much more bulky, heavy, and expensive.Cons: Not much in instructions. Cannot be used alone (see below). For larger limbs/joints, SAM splint would be better.Keys to proper usage:โข Unfold it and then It has to be molded into a U or V or pleated to become rigid. You may need to double it. This is no different than a SAM splint.โข Make sure to pad it. Do not use against bare skin. Cover the sharp ends. If you have roll gauze or cast padding, you could wrap it around the limb first. A nicer way is to fold/cut the wire then layer the padding back and forth over it and tape down - that way, it can be applied and wrapped then removed/replaced later. You can use paper towels, towels, gauze pads, or anything else for cushioning.โข Wrap bandage around the splint and limb. Cohesive bandage (Coban, CoFlex, Vet wrap) works well and is more compact, but is not as durable or good for removing/replacing as an elastic bandage (Ace wrap). Make sure it is not too tight.โข Note that you will need: some kind of padding, scissors, and some kind of bandage wrap. Tape helps keep padding in place.
