The product was late and is not what the seller advertised. The investment is porous and congeals in a matter of minutes.

I’ve attempted to make multiple molds, I’ve already used half of this container with no luck.I weighted it out with the correct water ratio every time and put it through the vacuum chamber. I did the reccomend burnout process exactly to the specs within 100f degrees.The plaster turns to dust every time, it doesn’t keep its shape and falls apart. I’ve even experimented with adding more/less water with the same results. I’ve wasted a lot of money and time because of this product.Additionally my package was multiple weeks late.Please buy a different product elsewhere.

I'm new to metal casting but I've done my research. I've built a programable kiln capable of following the fire order in conjunction with a vacuum chamber capable of 30psi.However I'm unsure if the plaster is at at fault here. I'm casting larger items that may not be the intended use of this plaster.I've ran a few trial runs and I've found that even with the vacuum chamber bubbles still occur and I cannot get a good surface finish.I'm using the lost pla method for some of the designs but the sprus are casting wax and the issue is still occured.I've even gone as far as making a vacuum plate for the flask and plaster to site on so I can pull a vacuum while pouring my aluminum.I struggled to get a good surface finish and some parts will over fill and others fail to fill completely.The patential is their but I could not get the results I wanted from this plaster - if I find that my issue is user error I'll give this plaster another try and update the review as the price is hard to beat.

I did lost PLA investment casting using 3d printing, and the cast came out looking like it was printed. Gotta say, I was impressed.

My son uses this for casting 3D prints. It is costly but he seems to have the best results with this brand. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Worked well even hand mixed with cno vacuum. Mixed 3/4 of powder into water for low viscosity quick mix which deaired and then blended in final 1/4. Have to be quick but if do not have vacuum it is a way to minimize bubbles.
