Easy to tighten but Losens to easy. Don't have to press the button to loosen.

Bought a set like this 30 years ago. Wasn't sure the threads on my old set were strong enough to hoist a truck lid to a garage ceiling. Bought this set and seems to be just as well made. Now I have two straps on each corner of the bed for security. A "one Star" rater advised these do not cinch. He is suppose to thread the strap opposite the clamp. Quite hilarious.

This product has an arsenic warning label on it. It should have been disclosed or I wouldn't have bought it.The government website advises to wash your hands after using a product with this label.I don't feel comfortable using this. Returned for a refund.

Thick, solid strap and camlock. It is very difficult to feed the strap into the camlock. The camlock holds well.

Just pull the strap tight, fold down the buckle, job done. One inch strap is plenty strong for holding my canopy down in windy conditions, and inexpensive.

The the metal binding fixtures do not hold well and allow the strap to slide though. They can only be secured if you tie them in a knot as the binding mechanism sucks.

We bought a hot in January. It comes with a heavy lid that is secured to the spa by sewn in straps with small (and obviously fragile) plastic buckles that latch to a component screwed into the tub exterior. In 3 months the lid blew off 3 times, breaking some of the plastic buckles each time. The wind was gusting at 20-40 MPH each time, which seems to be fairly common where we live in KY these days. A new set of 4 buckles was about $40 at Watsons, though you can buy them from Bullfrog for $20. We searched for easy release straps with S-hooks that were long enough to extend over our spa and hook into metal screw eyes screwed into the wooden deck. These straps work perfectly!! They release and re-tighten easily. As you can see from photos - two straps and 4 screw eyes did the trick. I don't usually write reviews but we had asked multiple people at Watsons and contacted Bullfrog trying to find a solution to keeping our lid secure and they were not helpful. I'm posting this so it will hopefully help someone else looking for a cheap and simple solution to keep their hot tube lid secure. Teri
