It is a very comfortable piece except for the plastic knurl at the joint and on the cap, they're a little rough but easily smoothed with a light sanding.For me the length is perfect, and it is nice looking. I bought it to gently pop my retriever's butt when he starts counter surfing or dismembering his toys.

Nice crop but wrist strap is so small I can’t get my hand through it. This is a crop I’ll be dropping. Would not recommend

I was really impressed with this crop when I received it. It was longer than I thought it would be, and even more flexible than expected. Since this was meant to be a Christmas gift for my significant other to be used on me, I was a little nervous that it would work too well. She loves the crop, and it does work quite well! We are both happy with this crop, and for the price, I can highly recommend it for bedroom use. I have no clue how well it works on horses though.

We didn't purchase this for it's titled use. We bought it to enhance an aspect of our relationship that my wife has been interested in taking in a new direction. It's not really my thing, but I'm more than happy to go along for the ride because it has meant a big increase in special interactions. To get to the point, I'm technically the user of this device and I'm fairly neutral on it. But my wife, being the recipient, insists high marks are deserved.

Purchased this riding crop to use on trail rides. I use this for multiple reasons including blocking and tackling spider webs on the trail as well as when my horse needs a little incentive to go forward. Just the right size, length and it is quite sturdy. Great purchase and reasonably priced.

Update:Did it break quickly, yes. That can happen with anything but what matters is an organization that has great customer service and wants to make it right. After contacting the seller, I got a response almost immediately. A replacement was sent the same day and delivered within 2 days. I will shop with this seller in the future. Thank you.__________________________Original Review:Got the product when I got home after work today at around 515 pm. Tried several easy swats of it and the product fell apart. String unraveled. Barely put any strength into it. Very cheaply crafted and sewed.

Let me first say that I am using this as a prop for a Burlesque routine so I cannot make statements towards its actual use on horses or whores. Right off the bat, I notice it is better quality than the cheap "toys" you can get at the local smoke shop when you just turned 18 and were trying to be sexually liberated and cool. Ah... the 90's. The slapper flapper leaves a nice crisp smack sound and the stick is sturdy and flexible. I purchased this based on price as I would only be using it one time for a one off routine. How it works on horses I couldn't tell you. I'll end up keeping this because I find myself saying, "I could use a riding crop," more often than one would expect. I recommend this if you need something affordable for light use or prop work. I am sure it could be used more or for more intense usage, but I will never know.
