I have a 2004 Sequoia and decided to do my front brake pads myself since Les Schwab wanted $800.00. They were so easy to install. I did order a spreader tool as well but the total cost was less than $100. They are quiet and work amazing. I needed pads that heavy duty cause I pull my trailer a lot. These did the trick. Highly recommend.

very affordable and work beyond what I expected. Put them on my 14 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. Very big improvement in braking compared to the Toyota pads. My other vehicles have Hawk Brake pads which work excellent but expensive. I might try these out on my other 2. Very little brake dust. Grip is really good. Very affordable. My Toyota definitely even stops better.

Used on 2016 4runner sr5. Very happy with the results. After install followed instructions to properly break in pad and release the resins in the pad. So far I probably have put about 300 miles with some mountain driving. Coming down the mountain, they smell a bit but never lose grip. Smell goes away as soon as I am on flat ground. Braking is super consistent. I also paired them with brand new front rotors so that has to help. Replaced rear pads but did not replace rotors as they were still good.Best part of all is they are low dust & noise. Usually under heavy break in you'll get crazy dust (at least the older factory pads I used to use created lots of it) but after several weeks I dont feel the need to clean my wheels. They still look silver to the naked eye.

I found conflicting reviews on these pads in regard to the part number working on other Toyota trucks. My truck showed part number Z36-976B as the front pad set fitting a 2017 4Runner. The difference between this pad set and Z36-976B is nothing more than the pin length. This pad set has shorter pins which weren't long enough for my caliper width. You can reuse your factory pins and springs, assuming they are in good reusable condition, on this pad set and it will work fine. Part number Z36-976B is nearly twice as much which seems excessive when the only difference is a couple of retention pins worth a few bucks. These are great pads that don't squeak or produce a lot of dust when they get hot. I use them on several trucks and have had excellent results over other premium brands that claim to be the best.

Bought when I replaced my rotors and pads on my 2017 4runner sr5. Very surprised at the results. After install they were bedded in properly to release the resins in the pad. So far I probably have put about 300 miles on them and they are about seated into the pad. Braking is super consistent. I dont have to keep gradually pressing the brake pedal to slow the truck down more and more. The pad grips and I'm pretty much holding constant until the truck comes to a stop (if that makes sense). I also paired them with brand new rotors so that helps.Best part of all is they are low dust. Usually during break in you'll get crazy dust (at least the older street pads I used to use created lots of it) but after several weeks I dont feel the need to clean my wheels. They still look silver to the naked eye. Very impressed with these pads. I cant wait to do the rears next.

I've had these pads for about 2 years on my 07 tacoma V6 now. It's my daily driver plus I tow a 20ft open flatbed trailer with a race car, tools and spares. All together, the trailer weighs in right around 5000lbs loaded. Overall, these pads seem to do as well as the set that were on the truck previously (which I assume were OE Toyota since the previous owner serviced frequently at the dealership). However, these pads seem to have distinct characteristics depending on the temperature of the brakes. They seem to do much better after they get a good heat cycle and often it's downright scary if you have to do hard braking when the brakes are cold - ie. right after a couple miles out of your driveway or when the temperature gets down into single digits or lower. I've made a habit to be more conscious of the brakes and give more room when I anticipate cold hard braking scenarios. Once they warm up though, they bite much harder than the previous pads. They do well when I'm pulling the trailer with traffic and there's constant braking. Only once did I have to do an emergency maneuver because the brakes faded - traffic was doing 70-75mph on an open flat highway, coming towards an exit, there was construction there and a few cars ahead didn't see the dead stop. I full braked and squeezed the brake controller. The brakes held up OK - I blew past the car in front of me by a few feet. Luckily there wasn't much traffic and I was able to put my truck in between two lanes momentarily. In summary - good brakes when warmed up. OK for daily driving and towing as long as you're aware of the heat performance characteristics. Good initial bite, ok pedal feel. I wouldn't be opposed to buying them again, but for now I'm going to try a different pad.
