These pads are well worth the price. You can get "lifetime" warranted conventional (not ceramic) pads from the local auto parts store for more money, but who actually remembers to file a claim on their brake pads when they wear out five years later? (ok, I've done it once but those days are behind me).The leading and trailing edges of these pads are chamfered (look THAT one up) to reduce noise. Not all pads are like that (ok, it means the edges are beveled). Still stumped? They're cut at an angle where the pads contact the metal of the disc so that a 90 degree brake pad surface won't be scraping on your discs like fingernails on a chalkboard. After all, you can scrape a chalkboard all day long with your fingernails at an angle and won't get that sickening sound like you'll get at 90 degrees. Yeah, it's like that.Ceramic pads (like these) last longer and create less dust than organic (conventional) pads.Then there's the more expensive metallic pads, which you probably don't need unless you're Mario Andretti (ok, I'm dating myself) or the soccer mom with the lead foot and wide-eyed kids in the back.

Easy swap, as good as the pads I put on 2 years ago, but I'm a little disappointed that the hardware didn't include the wire springs. The pads were drilled for them.

I installed brake pads on Santa fe 2016 , fit perfect, so far i do not have any complaints, require set for rear now , will order.

The pads were the exact fit of the OEM which I was replacing . I did get a slight rotation noise at low speeds, I believe it was from the brake clip, time will tell . The brake clips seem to not fit as tight as the originals but on this point I’m not exactly sure .
