The straps and the spine work together, which is a lovely item. It's very sturdy, especially in the lumbar region at the spine. This is a bit small, but it isn't my size. However, I have tried it to get a feel of it. The straps that wrap work with the spine, and some straps fit over your shoulders. It is a semi-form or medium strength. If it were tighter, it would be uncomfortable, and it will work if you wear it a lot. This is a good item to share with loved ones. You could use Amazon's gift service with a customized greeting by selecting the option at checkout, or share it with a family member. That is a good outcome, too.I have decided to keep this one. The Velcro will help it fit many people of the correct size, more or less. I am a size 5-6x, and these are not that large. That is okay. I thought this would fit, but I don't, but you might. From what I see, these are like the ones I have already used, and they worked great. This one has a spine, which is an addition similar to boning.Great item.Enjoy!

This posture corrector fit really, really well. I've tried a few different brands of posture correctors, and this one felt the most comfortable and supportive of all the ones I've tried. Sure, it's a little on the pricey side, but I think it's well worth it. The materials are durable and sturdy, so I feel like my back is truly supported and placed correctly when I wear it. It can be a little uncomfortable at first, but just take it slow and wear it for short durations until you can build your length of time up more. Overall, I really like this corrector and would recommend it!

My black, tiny Posture Corrector is great. I use an improved back brace with straps that supports my upper and lower back. I wear it at my desk and while walking to aid with hunchback, scoliosis, and back pain. The shoulder straightener prevents my excessive forward slouch.My lower back is much less painful after long days thanks to it. I've been trying to straighten my posture for years, and this works without hurting. It fits snug yet comfortably and disappears under my shirts. It feels robust, works, and makes me taller. I’ve been using this posture corrector for a few days now, and I can already feel it gently pulling my shoulders back when I start to slouch at my desk.
