My daughter is 14 and a tiny. An adult size was to big. So we tried this one. She has Scrolliosis and we are trying prevent her from having to wear a brace. So far she loves it !! It definitely helping. She says her back is not hurting any more. She wears it school. That's where we have the bad posture issues mostly.

Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of support to this posture brace. It’s more of a waste holder. I am 5’0 so I got the kids extra large - I could have gotten a regular large, because of how far these straps pull around your body. They do not pull your shoulders back as a posture brace should.

This is the start of my third week wearing this and I love the result. As someone with a sedentary lifestyle, I was scared by my lower back pain, I'm too young to have that. Also, I got a lot of comments encouraging me to fix my bad posture of slouching whether I sit or stand. This is my third brace and the one that helps me stick to the habit of wearing a brace. It was the most comfortable to put on (as with all other braces you're supposed to wear something before the brace). It's easy to adjust and discreet enough to disappear into your outfit which is a big plus to me.I love that it's not super tight (it could be if you adjust it to that point). It provides a certain extent of support to the back and a pull strong enough to keep you from slouching without hurting you.My experience so far with it is quite comfortable, I can put it on and forget about it.One thing is that you would need to correct it occasionally (I'm 5'6 wearing a XXL.

Full disclosure, I am a petite woman, not a child. I have used many back braces and posture correctors over the years and I find that the adult sizes are usually too big for me and in the rare instance they actually have an XS they are too small. I find that I fit into most kids size XL, so I gave it a try. It fits me perfectly thankfully. I also really like that this does not have metal in it like a lot of the adult versions. I have always had some back issues and occasionally need the extra support, but lately I have had issues with slouching. I wanted something to push my shoulders back when I am relaxing around the house. This has definitely helped with that. It forces me to be aware of my posture and keeps my shoulder up and back. The only thing I don't like is the waist velcro is supposed to be fastened really low, almost below your bellybutton, in order to pull your shoulders in the right way. This can get annoying because as I walk around, or even if I am sitting, it starts sliding up to my waist again and then the shoulder part gets loose. Hopefully once I get more used to it that won't be an issue. I plan to continue wearing it daily, and I definitely see an improvement in my posture already. Just to add, I was really confused when I received it and couldn't figure out why the velcro wasn't catching. There are fabric pieces over the velcro that you have to pull off before you can wear it. It was really hard to notice because the fabric was cut to the exact size of the velcro it was covering and the same color. I was so confused until I saw a corner sticking out and pulled on it.

I saw that folks said that the sizing was way off from the charts. They’re not kidding. The XL should have been quite big on me-it fit tightly. . .BUT. . .There is no Velcro on the brace I received. None! There’s no way to close it. I have never seen such a manufacturing snafu before!Such lovely packaging, and the brace feels nice and looks well designed. I was excited about putting it on my aching back. It’s going right into the trash as it is useless! One star seems like a stretch on this one, but there’s no “zero stars”.

In a world where teens are compelled to hunch over their keyboards, controllers and energy drinks with salty snacks, put all those before them, who strive to function upright, to shame. There came a strange sound hear around the world, it sounded familiar with familiar words, faint at first but then louder as it was sung far and wide. Was it a call? Was it praise? It sounded familiar with the words "mom". Upon listening closer you could hear it clear as day, "Mom, my back hurts". How could this be? A child in only teens, with no laborious work or tedious tasks, how could such young and spry smaller humans be in so much pain in their backs? Ahhh but there it was, the keyboards and controllers, the trading cards and anime drawing, it was a lifestyle of hunching over from hours of leaning forward and looking down! Alas, the mother had no easy remedy really available, what could she do? TO THE AMAZON! (website not rainforest.) At the tips of mom's fingers she found the keys and lo and behold, a child's back support ready to ship and arrive tomorrow for free... with Amazon Prime of course. The order was placed, the package was shipped and as guaranteed arrived as fast as lightning. At first, the child was scared of the contraption, packed neatly in a beautiful little box. It had solid construction and the sewing was beautifully done, not rushed like fast fashionwear. They read the instructions and it was quite easy, slip the contraption on as a vest. There were strange tabs on the left and the right that the mother quickly recognized were Velcro pull straps. Tabs to fasten the support vest were pulled on the fluffy velcro side, but Alas there was no sticky Velcro. They stared at it intently trying to figure out. Was it defective? Was it incomplete? Were there missing parts? A quick look at the instructions and then back at the vest, Ah, there it was. There was a protective piece over the Velcro, most likely to make sure it didn't stick to everything in the box. They pulled the protective piece and fastened the support straps and suddenly the teenager changed. Her posture was a little more upright, supported and proper, and at that moment the mother realized the teenager was actually taller than she thought. The teenager started doing this strange thing with her face, which can only be compared to awkwardness? Constipation? Maybe possibly... a smile? Yes, there it was! It was a smile! The teenager smiled! Off she ran in happiness. And as the mother passed the teenager, playing video games, she noticed... my teenager was really 4 inches taller than I thought! And they all lived happily ever after.
