I bought this so I could take naps on my lunch breaks (I'm a delivery driver and it sets up perfect in my work truck) this has been used almost daily for somewhere around 2 years and is holding up like a champ! I did replace the clips on the ropes though, not due to bad quality but hefty buddy of mine weighed more than was suggested but wanted to try it out.....it held him fine but bent the clips a bit so I bought heavier duty ones. This hammock is plenty deep and comfortable and the material is so awesome! I have sold so many co-workers on these and have never heard one complaint.

I purchased this for my oldest son a little over a year ago and while it has served its purpose you can get a better bang for your buck elsewhere. With that being said, by no means was this hammock babied. We have four kids whose age ranges from two and a half to eleven and they've all been in this hammock (separately and together) sometimes with shoes on. They've also all treated this like a swing at one point or another so like I said, it's been well used. While looking over it the other day I noticed the fabric near the center portion of the hammock had started to separate forming some what of a small hole, the fabric is still in tact and none of the material has torn but you can stick your finger through. I used it after finding the flaw and it was just fine but I'm taking it down as I don't feel like running a kid to the ER because they fell through and broke a bone (if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all). It's also seen rain more than once and the colors bled, not an issue for us but just fyi. With all that out of the way, I recently purchased a double hammock for myself from a competitor (furry omnivore's rear end) and while I haven't had it a year yet, I can tell you that I paid a few dollars more (on sale), it's significantly bigger (10ft x 6ft), better quality materials, lifetime warranty, and their customer service is the best I've ever experienced. I contacted them for some loose stitching around the bottom of the stuff sack and they just sent me a whole new hammock and told me to keep the old one and stitch it up for a backup.I definitely got my money out if this hammock but for just about the same price you can do better.

I love this hammock! I have slept in this while camping and I have had several people ask to borrow it on their camping trips because it is so comfortable! It is wider than most other camping hammocks which ensures that unless you purposefully throw yourself off the hammock you're not going to roll off during on the night. It comes with two lengths of rope to use to tie around the trees but unless you know knots I would recommend buying straps with this hammock. I use this hammock in my backyard as well because it's easy to put up and put away. It's also very durable. A very good buy.

We bought this hammock before a camping trip last summer and we LOVE it! It was easy to hang up, very sturdy, comfortable, and easy to take down and stuff back in the pouch. We did purchase separate straps to hand it with than what came with it, but the hammock itself is fantastic for the price, especially.

Loved this hammock when I first got it.. I used it twice, though, and some of the threads are starting to fray/pull. Satisfied because it was cheap and light weight, but hopefully it will hold up.Edit: bought in 2016, it is currently October 2020 and I still use this hammock. Came here to check the weight capacity but figured I'd update my review at the same time. 4 years later and still going strong! Extremely happy with my purchase.

For the price, this is a fantastic hammock. The quality of the fabric is very good and it is very light and portable. The carrying bag attached is very spacious and easy to use and is a great extra feature. The thing I don't like though is that the included ropes and carbineers are not very good. Both felt very cheap and flimsy and I don't think I would trust them to hold me for a long period of time. I ended up purchasing the Algoma straps on Amazon and those worked very well. Even though I had to buy the extra straps, the price was still significantly less than the Eno hammock at REI that costs over $60. Overall, I am very happy with this hammock and highly recommend it.

I had one of these for over a year now and decided to get another one for the future as the price is ridiculous for the quality it presents. It is very light and well made. There are triple stitching horizontally and holds well. I have tried this with my daughter simultaneously and had no issues except the provided carabiner gave some way, so it was time to switch that to a real one. Also, the provided rope is not long enough so you might want to get some 6 mm ropes or a hammock tree tie in addition to this. After each use, the hammock fits right back into the built-in pouch. Excellent find.

So far this hammock has done well for being so cheap. I have an Eno Hammock (usually priced around $40) and so I bought my girlfriend this one because I did not know if she was going to actually use it. Well, she has, at least 5 times now and she loves it. It comes with rope straps which are durable but we will probably replace them for something more stable. Great starting hammock if you have never had one before.
