These are nice cooling packs with the only issue being they are not quite as cold as the plastic sealed freezer packs.

stays really cold in an insulated bagbut I use several in the freezer cuz should we loose power the freezer will stay cold much longer.

I bought these because my wife needs to ice her back frequently. When I pull them out of the freezer my wife puts them behind her back while she is laying down. The full weight of her upper body is on the bag and none of the bags have broken. They freeze great, keep cold for an appreciable amount of time, and refreeze quickly.

These relatively small cold packs worked well in our wine carriers to transport wine for a four hour drive. We used two frozen cold packs per four bottle carrier.It wasn't too hot outside when we drove with the wine, but the cold packs did the job.Users should be aware that these freeze solidly and so you should be sure that they are flat when freezing.

These did work well for 24 hours in a cooler but I would not compare them to dried ice at all. They do not sweat which is great. I put them in the cooler with food that was already cold on a Thursday around Midnight. By Friday night they were warm. I do think these are a good item but not for over 24 hours from my experience.

I used cold packs like these all the time, but until now I've never actually purchased any. The ones I use all came from frozen food deliveries! Well those eventually deteriorated (and began to leak), so I ordered a case of these. I'm very, very pleased with the product!You get 12 cold packs, each about 6 inches square. When you put them in the freezer, they will freeze solid (make sure you lay them flat in the freezer so they'll freeze flat). These are small enough to slip in mini-coolers, backpacks, or lunch bags -- and since you get 12 of them, you'll have enough to keep just about everything you need cold. I frequently find myself bringing food to family gatherings (sometimes 4 or 5 hours away), and these will make packing much easier.This is a good product at a very reasonable price. I know I'll be using mine regularly.
