The biggest petticoat in the market! I have seen so many of them for my daughter’s gown and this is by far the best!

Used under a large rococo style gown I made, it worked great! It didn't reach the floor as shown, but it didn't need to to give it the structure!

9-Hoop White Petticoat is perfect for my velvet and tulle ballgown that is medium weight fabric with a train. The largest hoop is 56 inches (142 cm) in diameter and all the hoops can be adjusted to a smaller diameter or slightly larger if needed by sliding the hoop through the clear plastic tubing that anchors it. This is accessed on the inside open seam of the petticoat (see photo). It is fairly easy to do, no special tools, but does take patience and would recommend wearing gloves to protect the material and help in gripping the hoop as you adjust it.The elastic waist is comfortable and also has a tie to keep it in place.I recommend this petticoat for very large and/or heavier weight ballgowns. The shape of the petticoat may also be adjusted. It comes with the top two hoops sewn together at the front & back to give it an oval shape. If this is unsewn, the petticoat hoops will round out into a full circleSeller was good to work with and delivery was within the projected shipping window.

I am making a Glinda cosplay (Wizard of Oz) and need a hoopskirt that is wider at the hips than front to back. I noticed the reviews mostly talk about the need to cut the threads that give it a round shape instead of the oblong shape reminiscent of the 18th century. Because I DON'T want a round shape, I WON'T be cutting the strings. It's the perfect shape and size for my cosplay. It is the fullest hoopskirt in my collection and I love it! It has an elastic waist plus a drawstring. While the fabric is a cheap polyester, it will be covered by my dress. One of my complaints about my other hoopskirts (not this one) is that the top hoop isn't full enough to give a nice bell shape. This one doesn't have that problem at all.I have a 36" waist and am 5'4" tall.I included a reference photo of the character whose costume I am making.

Completed my daughter’s look on her special day! In order to get the full ball gown look I did have to clip some strings that were tying some of the petticoat together, giving it an oval look. Once snipped, turns into a true 9 hoop petticoat! I only gave it 4 stars seeing as it kept falling. We had to do 4 sew points onto the dress which wasn’t horrible! Def worth the price!

The biggest thing you need to know is that this is easily made to be a round shape by snipping a few stitches that don’t damage the garment, and that this is the most massive hoop I have seen on the market within this Price range .It is HUGE. If you want HUGE you are getting that. This hoop is in the shape of an 18th century court pannier. It is made of thin acetate taffeta material which is prone to snags and ripping , and as noted the stitching is not the best quality. However , the size and quality of the metal hoop boning make this shine . If you are looking for a typical round hoop, but have been finding others to be awkward or too narrow ,it is easily modified to be round . As another review said, once you snip the two threads that give it a flattened pannier effect , it springs out into a giant round hoop skirt . I found that adjusting the rings to be smaller and removing the last two hoop layers made this the perfect rounded , full , civil war ball gown silhouette . It is HUGE. The boning is easily slid into a smaller size through the casings and you can customize that as you see fit . I think it’s a great value. If you need a huge pannier for a court dress, or a very massive hoop for your bridal or prom dress , with a snip of threads it’s ready to go. I’m super happy with this. Very difficult to find a truly full and rounded hoop. This one is mega full. Cannot emphasis enough That if you have bought other hoops that had the wrong shape , this one is HUGE and can be played with to suit your dress. The only issue is that the quality of the manufacture is not amazing. The taffeta acetate fabric it Is made of rips easily and the channels that contain The boning are not very durable . If you sew this can be easily improved. For general wear, it is very sturdy. If you want this as regular piece I would reinforce the channels that keep the hoops In place . This product is almost worth buying just for the metal boning .You have essentially complete flexibility with how large or small the petticoat is , but those wanting a full silhouette will want to order this one and tweak it . It’s amazing for the price and I’m thrilled . First time a crinoline has the shape and fullness. This one is the real deal , just adjust the hoops to be as small as you need because you will be stunned by how full It is. Plan on removing a few of the bottomHoops if you want to make it round as it drops to the floof when you snip The seams that force it into a flattened 18th century shape.
