So I've already rebuilt my power steering pump with this kit about 2-3 years ago and just recently had to do it again due to a massive leak from the shaft seal. What I found when removing the pump was the front shaft seal had 4-5 vertical cracks in it as if the rubber dried and cracked. The original OEM seal never leaked but I replaced it with the one from this kit when the rear seal started leaking the first time. I regret changing the shaft seal with this one. Since it seems this manufacturer is the only one making these kits I had to buy another one. Hopefully I can get some longer use from it. The shaft doesn't wobble, the bushing is tight and the shaft was cleaned spotless and was without pits. No reason the seal should have torn like that unless rubber quality was poor.
