Regular beds force users down toward the foot of the bed as the head is raised, resulting in users being positioned far away from the bedside table- users then must twist and reach back to access the bedside table which can lead to pain, strain and falls. With FLP, the users position relative to the bedside table remains the same regardless head section positioning.

For users, this allows for easy bed entry and exit as the bed itself can automatically and effortlessly assist users to and from the standing position. For caregivers, back strain can be greatly reduced by raising the bed to a comfortable working height for patient care, cleaning, feeding etc.

the whole bed rises high enough so caregiver doesn't have to bend over. The side rails fold down at a button push. Works with our adjustable pressure mattress. Reasonably priced.Only negative is that the distance from the frame to the floor is 1/2 inch too low for our "sit to stand" feet to fit under, so we had to put it up on blocks (1"). We've had it for over two years, and it is tough.Only negative is that I've not been able to get parts (the contoller pulled loose from the wire, and needs to be replaced.

Love this bed, 12” mattress fit great. Being able to lift up the bed is so helpful in changing person in bed without strain on back.
