This case is perfect for heading to the range. The gun case holds my Glock 19 comfortably. The main compartment holds two MTM ammunition cases, extra mags, two sets of ears, mag loader, and has room for more accessories. The side pouches hold two mags and has a spot for eye protection-I am able to fit two pairs.

Bei einem Freund habe ich den Plano 1612 gesehen und auch für gut befunden. Bin dann aber trotz Recherche immer wieder nur auf den 1712 gestoßen.Wie gesagt, die Idee ist gut, ein handliches Range Bag wo alles was man so mitschleppt zum Schießen reinpasst.Allerdings muss man da schon abstriche machen, denn wirklich viel passt da nicht rein.Der zusätzliche Waffenkoffer, na ja...für eine 6" Waffe reicht er gerade so, ist aber von der Qualität her für mein Empfinden unterirdisch. Insgesamt ist die Materialauswahl nicht sonderlich gut, man könnte auch sagen eher billig.Ich habe den 1712 behalten, da ich keine wirkliche alternative gefunden habe. Ein zweites mal kaufen würde ich das Teil jedoch nicht.Update 03.04.2022Wie in meiner 1. Rezension schon erwähnt, die Materialauswahl ist nicht sonderlich gut.Heute muss ich leider sagen, sie ist eher sehr schlecht.Gekauft habe ich die Plano Range Bag 1712 im April 2021. Heute, fast ein Jahr später und Pandemie bedingt eher selten benutzt, löst sich das Material in Wohlgefallen auf.Die Enden vom Tragegurt sind aus dem Material gerissen, ebenso reißen die Nähte am Fach für den Waffenkoffer auf. Somit ist die Range Bag für mich unbrauchbar geworden.Ich bin von der Materialbeschaffenheit der Plano Range Bag 1712 mehr als endtäuscht.

First off there is a ton of confusion on here about if the 1712 is larger or smaller than the 1612. Despite being a larger number the 1712 is absolutely smaller than the 1612, I have both and took the attached photos to show the 1612 on the right vs the 1712 that came in this range bag for reference.I have many different Plano field/ammo boxes and have always liked them, but this one arrived with a broken sling clasp and the overall quality of the outer bag doesn't really match the field box.That being said I have contacted Plano about the broken sling so hopefully they will come through and replace that part so I can actually carry this using the sling instead of the handle.I think the overall size and design is pretty good for carrying mags, eye and ear protection, and some extra ammo to the range. Just wish they used sturdier sling swivels.

Pistol case is only big enough for 1 pistol. Was hoping to fit multiple.ProsGreat for a 1 pistol outingSeems well madeHas accessory compartments for 2 mags on one end and general pouch on the other.Ammo can is not as big as 50 cal but is larger than a 30calConsMag pouches don't fit 10 round 45acp 1911 mags. Too short.Pistol case only holds 1 full size pistolIf you go with more than 1 gun you will need another pistol case.

Lots of room and big enough to take 3 pistols, maybe more. Holds a large amount of ammo and accessories. Side pockets hold my clips, flashlight, and small tools. I love the case that comes with it because it holds two pistols with extra clips as well. Padded shoulder strap allows me to carry this comfortably while heavily leaded. I'm sure I'm leaving something out but it's awesome!

Love, love, love this product. As a woman, there is room for keys, mirror (safety glasses do make mascara run!), phone, etc. And of course, plenty of room for various types of ammo, even cleaning products. Love the gun box, I easily use it for my 9mm and two magazines, while still having room left. Fits anything needed for range, with room for more. I also keep some first aid supplies in it.

Cool idea - in case you did not get it; This is a bag to carry two cases, an ammo-type box and a pistol case. They each have a compartment. There is no cover so you can see what they are at a glance. This is not an issue if you are walking from your car to the range - it may be awkward if you are elsewhere. I like it. You can buy more pistol cases online or elsewhere for a reasonable price and just slide in the one you want to take to the range. You could also put a whole bunch in the ammo box too I guess.Nice details like a good strap and magazine pockets on the sides in case you go that route.

Great carrying case for handguns and all the required equipment. I use this to carry a S&W Bodyguard 380 and Ruger .38 LCR. They both fit into the smaller gun case. I can put several boxes of ammunition, manuals, ear muffs, safety glasses, targets, and a small cleaning kit in the ammo box. I put extra magazines in the side pouches. Both of the boxes have holes to allow for them to be locked, which is a nice feature that prevents the "easy" thefts. Since it's plastic, of course a determined thief can just cut it.

What an amazingly good idea this setup is. It does hold an large amount of gear. However I do not want to schlep all of my ammo when I head out to go shoot. Thus you still need other containers for your ammo stockpile. So I just load this puppy up with stuff I will actually use at the target site. The gun box is large enough to hold two guns. I am able to store a Ruger mark IV and a Ruger LC9s in the gun box. The plano ammo box has enough room for a day's worth of shooting plus my eye and hearing protection

This is a great Range Bag. The pistol case works really good for my S&W Model 60 revolver and there is plenty of space for my speed loaders and clips if you have a pistol. The molded case is sturdy and there is plenty of room for my hearing protection, extra ammo and water bottles. It is easy to carry using the handle or the strap over the shoulder. I would recommend this range bag to anyone looking for a sturdy range bag.
