This Cymbal arm is exactly what I was looking for to add a small cymbal to my Yamaha tom mount. I needed a short and simple, lightweight, cymbal arm, but all the big-name offerings were over-designed (e.g. with booms, and/or telescoping tubes) and WAY too heavy for a mount already laden with two toms.This Pintech is awesome. The 7/8" diameter downtube fits all standard hardware, e.g. Gretsch, Yamaha, Gibraltar, and Pearl. Although designed for electronic cymbals, it works perfectly for small bronze cymbals. Best of all, it weighs about one-third of the comparable big-name arms!!! It's also about half the price of the others.Notes:* the threaded cymbal post is narrower than the standard 8mm; I think it's 6mm* the sticker on the item says "Made in Taiwan," NOT Made in the USA! as stated in the Amazon description* the length of the bar not including the cymbal tilter is approximately 12"

I'm sure it's a fine product but it doesn't fit the standard rack sized cymbal clamp on my Alesis Strike Pro SE kit. Trying to add a Lemon China and I don't want to have a cymbal stand for just that..
