Very poor quality product. It looks nice and feels nice but functionality is terrible. Between the constant false alerts and disconnections you could never rely on this. If your baby sleeps in a different room, even across the hall it will disconnect. Bluetooth signal is very weak. The app is even worse, and by no mean user friendly. It's so buggy.

I started out with the Snuza Hero which I loved but I decided to upgrade as the design was a bit big and it required a battery. The Pico has great potential and some advantages but failed on so many levels.Disappointed because I had so much faith in this device but I can now see why the Snuza hero is medically certified and recommended and the Pico is not.CONS:I've had at least 1 false alarm per night saying my baby isn't breathing when he very clearly is. I followed manufacturing advice to a tee.The app constantly disconnects and features are mot user friendly. It's hard to work out what use some of the smart setting have, for example the Tempature monitoring feature doesn't conform to core body temp standards I.e 36-37 degrees being the ideal, if you set it at this there will be constant alerts about low temp - my babies temp with a thermometer is usually at 36.4-36.6 the skin temp logged by the Pico device seems to run a couple of degrees below this, therefore you have to use the device a few days and keep a note on the babies average temp on the device and set the thresholds at this. Which seem counterintuitive and unhelpful, there is absolutely no advice via snuza on what to expect for this setting. On the app dashboard you only get a rolling 10 min log of stats before you lose the alert info so to try and see what exactly the alert was is sometimes impossible and the graph option is not user friendly and clunky. So it's hard to gauge what is normal for your baby to help set thresholdsAs for the abdominal movement feature, you can set max and min thresholds but who knows what they should be, I've literally had my hand on babies chest counting breaths, which have been regular when I will get alerts saying it's too low or high? Medical advice states that during sleep breathing can drop to 20/30 bpm and max of 60bmpm, if I set the device to this it's alerting me constantly even though i can clearly see from watching/feeling his chest it's not gone below this/there is no rapid breathing. So I stopped using the max/min setting and just used the standard alert (15 seconds no movement). Now here comes the issue with the standard 15 second alert. .. when baby stretches or is gassy and bearing down the nappy moves up away from the skin taking the device with it, the design of the Hero (which has a curved sensor) prevents the device lifting away, however because the pico is flat it lifts up with the nappy and then creates an alerts.PROS:The upside is that it will alert you if there is a legitimate issue, as long as you can cope with false alarms and a rubbish app. It's also a bit cheaper than other alternative monitors BUT it's predecessor the Hero is much better and cheaper, the only disadvantages to that device is no charging option and it's not a smart device - but in this case the "smart" part of this device is useless. The rechargeable battery is a great idea and this device is much sleeker, and probably more comfortable for the baby.

I love this as I sleep so much better as I know I have a warning system in place.

Overall it’s a wonderful idea, but my son barely moves and the piece falls off and sets off alarm. But when it’s on in the right spot, it works well!

I would not recommend buying this product, i will say AT LEAST once a night, there is a false alarm. I know it is a false alarm because i will be with my son, listening to him actively breathe and the Snuza alarm will go off saying he’s not breathing. This often wakes him up and is a pain and frustrating. I have an owlet and it works much better and is way more accurate. The only reason i got the Snuza is because my son has to wear foot braces and can’t wear the owlet sock with them. My son has a disability and it gives me peace of mind having the Snuza on at night because i think it would go off if he actually stopped breathing, however, the constant false alarms make it almost not worth it.

Unfortunately, I will likely be returning this. I spent $300 with high hopes that this would be exactly what I was looking for in a monitoring system. In some ways, it was. That’s the confusing part. This product is decent. It has potential to be really popular and marketed in ways that would launch the product into success. The web app developer (if there is one) should be fired. This app is so bare bones it is as if a 9 year old created it. It is NOT user friendly, but is oddly basic in functions which is contradictory in itself. There is no clear or obvious way to extrapolate the data or info you need. No way to export the data for a night of sleep. You are able to reveal the most recent 5 minutes of data and then manually toggle back by increments of 5 minutes but this is ridiculous and not helpful in the slightest bit. The app takes up A LOT of battery life and must be running while you sleep so your phone must be plugged in. The app visually stinks. There are random colorless areas in the charts they provide. Why does my child constantly look like he’s in limbo temperature wise? He’s not in the green or the red area, just uncolored. ODD! They missed the mark on this app majorly. There is opportunity to provide a real dashboard which would provide recommended or average goals for temperature, breathing and wake times, etc. They could provide a forum where other users could message and ask questions, share tips, etc. They could have updated the software on their devices which would have saved the consumer the insane hassle of getting this thing set up. The instructions aren’t even helpful. For $300 this should be user friendly, informative, helpful and ready to go out of the box. I work on commercializing products and am sad that a “good” and very marketable product will fail due to horrible marketing and technology in the web app development stage. Sad!

This device saved my babies life when he stopped breathing. I had to give him CPR & would have never known. It does false alarm if they tighten their little belly when stretching or gassy. A onesie or pajamas help keep it in place along with folding the diaper over. The false alarms can be annoying but the device can be completely controlled from your phone to turn on or off. I’ll take 100 false alarms for the 1 that saved my babies life!

Very happy with the pico I already had the hero but I like that the pico has extra features with the app like rolling over alert and temperature.I think the hero is slightly more accurate with the breaths as I notice pico misses one here or there but I’ve never had a false alarm and I’d rather it miss the odd breath then count breaths that aren’t happening which I read other monitors can do when I was looking into what monitor to get.the app is easy to use and like the hero the clicking to hear the breaths can be turned on which I find very comforting.the Battery life is great it goes for 40hours.the movement monitor is very accurate and always spot on the second he rolls from side to side or tummy.the only downside is it’s only Bluetooth so you have to be in the same room to use the app it still works as a breathing alarm like the hero from another room and I still get alerts on my phone.Would definitely recommend this

Works great , alarms loud when it doesn’t detect motion so far only bad thing it’s kind of a pain to have to keep changing it on to new diapers in the middle of the night when your baby is crying .

This device is truly amazing. Not only can it alert if your baby stops breathing, but it can also alert when the baby for example flips on their stomach or stands up in the crib. On top of all this, it can alert if your baby gets a temperature when sleeping. The alarm made me realize that my little one got a fever in the middle of the night. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found this device for my baby and I continue to promote it to everyone I know. There is no other device on the market to my knowledge with all this functionality and it's reassuring to see on their webpage that they also have a devices which is the first certified baby breathing monitor in Europe, and that has been clinically proven to detect if a baby stops breathing. The customer service is impeccable, with such a caring team contacting their customers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I wish every parent could find this monitor here.
