I ordered this petticoat to place on a dress form so that I could alter a couple of my dresses easier and also to wear underneath a couple costumes and gowns.I had been meaning to make my own petticoat for years when I came across this petticoat. Not only is it well made, but it is in fact easy to fold up and store. I was very skeptical and leery to take this out of the bag until I was certain I had the space and time I needed to complete a couple of projects that required the use of this petticoat. Once out of the packaging, you open the petticoat up like you would a sun visor and fold it back up the same way to put it away. The top ties and velcro's closed so you can get a good fit. The petticoat itself is lightweight which makes this a godsend when trying to wear a rather hefty gown. The petticoat supports and helps with weight distribution when wearing heavier gowns and makes the overall look perfection. I have not had to clean this petticoat yet, but it shouldn't be too hard to spot clean areas that might get dirty such as the bottom. Usually for odor and sweat smell release I spray with strong vinegar or high proof, cheap vodka and let it evaporate til dry.Whether your going to a dinner, dance, wedding or party, this petticoat is a great addition. It'll make your gown look and feel like you imagined and will walk through the room with ease.Overall for the price point, I would order this petticoat again and I would recommend this petticoat to friends and family who might have need for one, be it a wedding or a Renaissance Fair, this petticoat is sure to help keep your dress moving the way you want. Two thumbs up!

this is defiantly a bell shape not as full as shown in the pictures when under a dress. the waist closer is a string not a ribbon with is disappointing but it does still adjust to some different sizes. I'm almost 6ft and this is long enough to come to my ankles. There isn't any lace at all, and some of the stitching seems to be loser then it should be right out of the package. that being said it is a nice length and is sturdy enough to hold up the layers and folds of a larger dress/or skirt as it should.

This petticoat is going to make any long dress poof out beautifully! It'll make you think you're in the movie "Gone with the Wind!" (That's my favorite movie of all time & I've always loved that era of fashion!)I was able to fit in this perfectly at 5'3 & 155-160lbs. Also it fit my mother who is 6" taller than me & has a few inches smaller waist. My friend was also able to wear it...she's the same height as me but has a MUCH smaller waist than me, so it IS definitely adjustable to fit multiple sizes (height & weight!)My only problem with it was I could NOT get it to fold back up like they did! LOL I even followed the directions shown in the pictures (the figure eight) but it just didn't work out for me! 🤔 Maybe y'all will have better luck with that part!

I happen to own a large number of hoops and petticoats - I love period clothing and photography. This is a very good, simple version that allows the dress to lay smoothly (I had been concerned I would need extra petticoats over it but the skirt lay flat). The hoops are fairly flexible allowing one to move through doorways relatively easily. This is also a more narrow version than many I own and can be worn under slimmer skirts for that added shape without being too much. The waist is a nice, 1-inch elastic band with a velcro closure and drawstrings to make sure it is fit securely. I round it easily fit my 34-inch waist (and I am 5'-4" if you need a height reference). If you are very tall, you may find this is not long enough, but for the average woman it is a great length. All this said, I really feel the photo should match the product. This petticoat is exactly what is in the description, but not what is in the photos. It measures 47" wide as stated in the add, but the hoop skirt pictured is at least 67" or wider and creates a bell-shape, not the A-line shape this one creates. I am taking two starts off due to this - photos are a major reference point when buying and to have such a misrepresentation will lead to disappointment if you are expecting this to fill out a wedding dress for example.

This A-line 6 Hoop Crinoline Petticoat performs exactly as it should and holds the skirt out in wedding gowns, ball gowns and cosplay or historic costumes. The petticoat is made of 100% polyester, woven, fabric. There are 6, stainless steel, hoops sewing into the petticoat that give it the shape. There is a drawstring closure at the waist. The petticoat collapses down flat when not in use. The product page says it can be hand washed. This is not a super wide petticoat. It is more of an a-line, just as described. It's very lightweight but the hoops can definitely hold the weight of a beaded, gathered, skirt.Do note that there is no lace at the bottom hem, despite that being shown on the product page. Also, the drawstring is not a pretty ribbon, as shown on the product page. For those reasons, I deducted a star. However, it does work perfectly to create the right silhouette.

This hoop skirt made the outfit!!! It was very easy to put on. It has velcro and a tie. It was comfortable and light weight. I am 5'6" and weigh 157 lbs. The waistline is stretchy, so could be worn by someone larger than me. I wore it all day and had no problems. Love it!
