The Lowes didn’t have the outswing one my husband needed so we checked Amazon. Really need to check Amazon more often for construction items. Great prices and delivery to your door. Nicely made product

Door threshold, worked good, however, untreated wood on bottom of threshold will eventually rot. Would be much better if that wood was pvc or treated wood.

This is an essential component of an exterior door install, yet practically impossible to find here. The model chosen has a narrower base (4 9/16) and a lower threshold (3/4) compared to the ones used for standard factory-built doors. It was perfect for the custom wooden storm door on our sun room; hence the outswing. Pemco has a good set of resources (found under the name assa abloy) with detailed drawings for their products. Because it is a commercial grade product for residential use, be prepared to have tools for cutting to size and drilling the holes for fixing the threshold to the substrate. You will also have to know about what fasteners to use and what caulking works for your substrate. Not a typical DIY, but a very satisfying outcome! The Q-Lon seal system is easy to work with and seems very effective so far.
