Pearl no longer has the spring chrome plated. The felt insert is still inside though to quiet any squeaks. This is not a good replacement though for the Pearl Redline Pedal as the ends of the spring are aligned in the same direction but one end of the spring needs to be turned 90 degrees for attaching to a Pearl Redline Pedal.

パールのキックを使用してる者です。ライブ前に器具のメンテナンスを兼ねて新しいバネを購入しました。今まで、元から付属していたバネを使用していましたが…やはり新しいバネに替えるとまったく違いますね。跳ね返りが強く、前までの「ドォン」から「ダン!」という張りのある音になりました。どれほど弱ったバネを使っていたんだ…orz今回のバネ交換で改めて感じましたが、まだまだ大丈夫と思っていてもドラムはやはり消耗品なので定期的なメンテは必要と感じました。正しい音とまでは言いませんが、ちゃんとした音に耳を鳴らすためにも「バネ」といった細部にまで気を配れたら良いと思います。他に気にすべき細部はスネアのネジとかですかね…この「Pearl パーツ SP-64F パワースプリング」はキックペダルにひっかけやすいように、かける部分とバネの間に余裕があります。こういった点やバネの弾力性、耐久性などから☆4つ。☆-1はもう少し値段安くしてほしいなぁ…と
