Did not stay tight on beater shaft. Kept falling down. Thumb screw did not stay tight. Maybe if I used pliers it would stay, but seemed like threads would strip. Ended up getting DW brand with screw that tightened with drum key.

Granted it goes on a kick beater, the impact causes the screw to come loose. I would be better to have the option to use a drum key for extra torque for the tightness

Works but you have to keep tightening it so that's an annoying.

These beater weights do what you think they would. There aren't any special "features" but they work like you would expect and at a fraction of the cost of weights made by drum hardware companies. For others wondering, the weights are 17g a piece. I don't have a super accurate scale but all 4 weighed 17g on my scale. Would recommend.
