Overall it was ok, besides the guessing of which wire was which. First I just connected it as is according to the diagram which caused multiple problems. After disconnecting everything and going thru a with a voltmeter and a helper to see what wire was actually the right circuit, it worked good.

The plug with a junction box allows for wiring each light on a dedicated conductor, eliminating splicing. It did not come with extra nut so I bought a pack of 5mm so I could leave the studs tightened when attaching terminals. I also added the cord grip shown in the photo.

Got a pin that was damaged in the current one on our trailer. Turns out it's not so easy to replace the head so needed to replace the whole cable. This works perfectly and is just what is needed. No issues, recommended!

My cows like to chew up wiring, so I was looking for something tougher than what the trailer came with that should discourage them chewing on it as well. This is a nice kit with a nice heavy duty cable to protect the wiring and a nice patch panel for connecting all the wiring. Overall, a good solution to my problem.
