Easy to use for spoke length (I have only used for spokes with an elbow) but the color makes it hard to read, the numbers are etched but you need the right light and good vision. I may try rubbing a white crayon over it to see if that helps. It would be nice if it had notches to measure the spoke gauge, but it does not, separate tool needed for that.

This tool makes it very easy to measure bearings and spokes. Other reviewers complain about how hard it is to see the measurements, but on my well lit work bench it's no issue.

If you work on your bikes or anyone's bike you need to know the spoke size in case you need to replace spoke. I bought this tool so I could tell a local bike shop the spoke size I needed, after they held up a red card refusing to sell me any because they "didn't know the size". Lo and behold, they still refused to sell me any even after I bought this excellent tool to enlighten them. I can only assume they wanted to charge me labor all along. Ha! Amazon came through for me on that also, just ordered spokes on Amazon. Bike shop in question is one of ill repute as I later found from from other biking friends.

Well, not much to say, complain or be excited about here: its a precise metal ruler with very good and clear easy to read markings on it.The ball bearing measuring holes are really useful actually and I recommend hobby users to have one of these tools in their workshop.

È un semplice righello, ma torna molto utile sia per misurare il calibro delle sfere dei mozzi (bearings), che il calibro delle chiavelle delle pedivelle (cotter) che la lunghezza esatta dei raggi. Ovviamente essendo uno strumento di precisione non è di plastica ma di metallo
