Take your time and release the handle slowly and consistently and the readings are very repeatable. After setting the tension on all spokes using this meter the wheel was almost perfectly balanced.

Works as expected. I cannot speak to the accuracy but seems to be close if not spot on. If you are looking for something that will give you relative tension, this a great value. Looks to be a near identical copy of the “blue” tool and includes the same conversion chart. Even the indicator arrow, related nylon washers, calibration spring and adjustment screw appear to be identical. Likely came from the same factory in China. Any experienced wheel builder will tell you that spoke tension meters are not necessary as you can feel when the tension is right. However, they give you confirmation that you don’t have errant tensioned spokes that WILL eventually take your wheel out of true. I use it on every build.

Worked how is supposed to. Easy to use. Not sure how accurate the scale is, but it works. It’s perfect if you don’t want to buy park tool.
