I bought this for a 3D printer hot end based on the stated temperature range. It hardened like cement at 200 C so I question the ratings to 300.I intend to use it for some other applications but a cheaper Arctic Silver will probably work just as well.

probably one of the best thermal pastes on the market

I don't know if it really preforms to 18W/mK but the temps that i got with it are really good compared to some other high conductivity thermal compounds. Marketed in the range of 15w/mK. The biggest difference is the spared-ability. the others were very stiff and hard to apply. Have had very good results with the 5 dot method.

What can I say? It's not liquid metal or Arctic Mx or Noctua's, but it sure gets the job done, and it works pretty well. I've used it for a laptop cooling system that needed a fresh thermal paste application, and the results are great. From an overall result of crashing due to overheating under load, to hovering around the mid 80C range. I wouldn't recommend substituting thermal pads for this however, just as a personal preference, I like using thermal pads for GPU VRAM and not thermal paste. Overall, pretty good, but not as good as some of the premium options on the market.

The temps on my video card stays under 90F when not doing nothing even when the settings are at its max compared to when they were in the 90s when not doing anything. So using this for the GPU plus replacing the pads to a 20W definitely helps keep the temps lowered
