This porch railing flower box is perfect. It easily fits over my porch railings and is easy to secure and remove. I did have to add some filler between the railing and the hardware to make it level. The insert is a bit flimsy, but adequate for its purpose. The frame itself is attractive and very durable. I placed pots of mums in each box for the Fall, and the boxes worked well. Practical and attractive. I ordered two first and liked them so well, I ordered two more!

Excellent sturdy window/porch plant box. Just what we needed to add a pop of color to our front porch. I’m very happy with the quality and size of these planters, they finished off our patio perfectly. They come with brackets that allow you to mount them on a rail without having to screw into your deck. Which is awesome if you don’t want to damage your rail. The brackets are made to fit a 2 inch railing, they are adjustable for width, but not adjustable for depth. I was able to use the brackets, they fit only because my rail has a small lip. To ensure they don’t slip I added zip ties, just to be cautious, Which is fine with me. These planter boxes are pretty deep and can hold a lot of soil and lovely plants. I highly recommend them.

These boxes are ok for my purposes. I like the look and size. The brackets are cheap - but I figured that out from the reviews prior to purchasing these. They did fit on my deck and held up through a storm with some gusty winds, but I don't trust them 100% yet. One of the welds for the box was detached, but I just ziptied that section for the time being.

I was hoping for something acceptable but thought I might be disappointed upon delivery. Oh, how wrong my assumption was! The metal is a hefty weight, the size is generous and it's simply well made. I wasn't expecting the fiber mat to be included but to my delight, it was. I now have two of these planters and they were installed on what should have been my "she-shed" but has somehow turned into a man cave/barn. Oh, well. Maybe next time. The planters are beautiful and the perfect accent but let me assure you that they would look just as beautiful on a mansion. This was a great purchase and I get real sense of satisfaction when I look out at the structure. The fact that it's a man cave/barn...not so much.

Very happy with this planter! It's pretty easy to install and the bars that hold it on can be extended. You just have to put a small screw to hold in place if installing onto a 3 1/2" to 4" surface. It looks great with the pretty flowers and I've ordered another one also!!

I bought this lovely little planter and just like the photo it is hanging on my front deck. It is just like in the photo. Its strong and easy to assemble. Takes all of 5 minutes! Would recommend to anyone. Money well spent.

The planter is quite attractive with the liner and they are easy to install. The wrought iron frame is sturdy. The planters will fit a railing as wide as 5.5 ". Depending on the way your railing is made the planters will either hang inside your deck/porch or outside. I wanted them to hang over the front of my porch, but the way the porch was constructed, I could only hang them so they faced inside. While this works well on my open deck, on the porch the don't get enough sun because of the roof overhang, nor do they get any rain. The only problem with them is that water goes right through the basket when hand watering, no matter how slowly you pour it. The one on my deck receives rain so that isn't a problem, but for the ones on my porch I have to water them. I am going to take out plants from the porch planters and line the basket with plastic from a heavy duty yard bag and just poke a few holes in the bottom for drainage. As it is now, the water comes out the sides and bottom as soon as I begin to water spilling on the porch. Aside from the watering problem, they hold quite a few plants. I'll attach a picture if that is possible.

Love these planters. They are black, painted metal. The coco liner comes with them. They set up easily and they look great. I saw the same ones as window/deck boxes at store fronts and outside restaurant rails on Newberry St in Boston, MA. They are just as pictured and will be used yearly. I have planted herbs in mine and they are doing great ! The price is perfect for something that looks more expensive. Would definitely purchase these again and from the same seller. Packages came on time and packaged perfectly with all needed hardware and instructions ( although no instructions were really necessary. Sort of self explanatory for attaching to a deck rail as shown). Don't hesitate !

After reading several reviews on these planters, I purchased 4 for my black iron railings at the condo I'm renting (2 for the front porch and 2 for my balcony in back). They sure look beautiful and are very well made. They arrived quickly and were packaged snugly 2 to a box. Hardware for each planter was packaged separately and attached securely with cable ties. The hardware can be assembled to use the planter on a wider wood railing or fence BUT, as in my case, can also fit over a narrow metal railing by turning one bracket, attaching wing nut from inside framework, and not using the second piece (recommend saving for possible use later). I purchased separate cocoa liners because even though the photo shows a liner, the description did not say anything about them being included. These planters DO come with cocoa liners! My flowers were doing well but because I live in Michigan, I had to bring the planters in for a couple freeze-warning nights. The planters lifted off the railings with ease, without having to undo any hardware, and went back on with no problems either. I absolutely love these planters!

I was extremely impressed with this planter. It looks extremely stylish, and is also very functional. The inserts arrived a bit bent, but that will correct itself when soil is added. Meanwhile, it took me 2 minutes to mount it, without having to drill holes into my porch railing. Other reviews are correct that you need a railing that is 3 inches, as the hardware does not allow for smaller rails. However, the hardware fits right over the rail with minimal effort. The price gives great value - similar planters in local stores are $50+, and don't look as good.
