Finally found a music teacher for my child. As I know nothing about playing an instrument, it has sat brand new in its case for about 9 months. The teacher adjusted the violin to correct the sound. One string she never got quite right and the others went out of tune before she had finished. She mentioned something about the pegs not staying in place to hold the tension.A minor point, the rosin was cracked and broke when we tried to use it.It is beautiful looking and since we are outside the return window we cannot return it. I suppose it would make a nice decoration for your wall. Personally, it's not worth it as it is listed as a musical instrument and not home decor.For now we will be renting one from a music shop until we know if this is going to be a lasting interest.

I bought a 1/8 size violin with bow and case. The owner of the store answered my question before I ordered, the violin came very quickly.It even has a rosin, all the strings. The instrument keeps the tuning very well, has a good sound and really much better than I expected! I am very happy with this purchase and I can highly recommend this seller and also this violin with all the accessories.

Bought this for my 2 year old. Yes he is young but with all his siblings playing this was the right size and he picks it up plays along with them and puts it back just fine. It is sturdy and has a good sound. Not disipointed.

Wonderful item but the rosin was dried out and disintegrated when trying to use it!
