First, these were very inexpensive, but I expected a little more. The magnets are very weak. The rubber is very, very hard and not very grippy. Soft grippy rubber is kind of the whole point of "soft" rubber jaws. I don't care if they last forever, I need something soft and grippy. The rubber is also not secured in the channels and freely slides around and moves. I have no idea who would want a rubber sliding feature. I cannot recommend these even for the very low price. It is not really worth it for me to return these so I will keep them as backup, backup spares, likely to never use them. I love Amazon, this is not a reflection or judgement of Amazon. It is just a poor product and the fault of the manufacturer. Peace!

The overall construction is very good, but the magnets embedded in the back side that are intended to secure the jaw pad to the vice are so weak that they do not work at all! The pads just fall right off as soon as you let go of them. I like the pads well enough that I will take the time and trouble to install some real magnets that will hold the pads in place.

The magnets are extremely weak making the pads release from the jaws every time you remove an item. The rubber pads are almost too hard requiring extra pressure to stop items from moving. I will not buy them again.
